I keep seeing conflicting info online about it being discontinued but other sites saying yes, it’s still made.

I’d love to buy some but can’t seem to find it anywhere around here?

One of my favorite memories is being allowed to get a bottle of RC out of a vending machine for 35 cents, circa 1979-1980 with my Dad.

If it is still made, can it be ordered online?

At my local Weis Grocery store too. As a type II, I try to avoid it but it is tasty if memory serves.

Just a couple weeks ago had the 26th annual RC Cola and Moon Pie Festival. Thousands attend in our little burg of about 400 residents.

At one time, at least, there was a diet version with no sugar. I liked it when I lived where it was available.

No. It is grown.

And in Idaho, of course, mined.

But that goes without saying.

Circa 1962, busting truck tires on a sweaty Saturday afternoon.....RC Cole with obligatory bag of salty Mr. Peanut poured into the bottle mouth, sitting down for the first time in hours, extra fizzy bubbles and taking a deep deep swig in front of that big old shop fan....Aaaahhhhhhh!!!!

I saw it on the shelf at our local Kroger a few weeks ago. I loved RC when I was a kid.

We were on our way west through Bell Buckle one Saturday morning some years ago when we had to stop at Webb School for the RC Cola-Moon Pie parade to pass. We got some great shots of antique cars and one of Channel 4’s Snowbird! Looked like a fun event.

P.S. Saw a Moon Pie display at Kroger just last night.

Diet Rite cola was a RC Cola product if I remember correctly

RC Cola is stocked next to the 7UP and A&W rootbeer at my grocery store. A quick search shows that it is owned by Keurig Dr. Pepper along with a lot of other brands.

Yup. I keep a '12ver of RC and Moxie around all the time. Put a few of each in the fridge for when I'm feeling thirsty.

Like most of those treats from days past, I doubt it tastes the same. Cheerwine for instance, is not the beverage I recall from 40 years ago.

Yeah, same for Boone's Farm Apple. Smile

It was an economic thing back then. Coke came in a 10 oz bottle. Pepsi in a 12 oz, and RC in a 16 oz. All for about the same price.

I haven't had a bottle in decades.
