At one time, at least, there was a diet version with no sugar. I liked it when I lived where it was available.

Diet Rite cola was a RC Cola product if I remember correctly
I liked Diet Rite cola--haven't seen it in a long time.

Just bought a 2 liter about 1/2 hour ago....
RC Cola has always been my favorite. As a kid, when I visited Mamaw, she would be sure to have RC Cola, Moonpies, and Strawberrys, just for me.

Eat them together, oh man! I sure could go for some now!

I also liked RC Cola back in the day. I haven't had one in years......honestly, I haven't looked for one, as I usually buy Pepsi.

Growing up in Detroit in the 1940s and 50s it was Vernor's Ginger Ale and New Era potato chips. Vernors is still available, but when it ceased being a family business they took the apostrophe ("'") out of the name. I think it's still aged in wood barrels, though.

No problem buying it here. 2-liter bottles 88¢ at my favorite store. Already mentioned is that it is made by Keurig/Dr. Pepper, but at least not "woke" Coke.

There is actually a Dr. Pepper bottling plant here.

Started drinking Dr. Pepper after I could no longer find Bloodwine.

Ale8One and RC are good every now and then.

Oh yeah! I still drink Vernor's on occasion although as a general rule I don't drink "pop" anymore. Too much sugar.

RC Cola is in my kitchen. Bought it in place of coke since coke decided to not support America!

Stopped at a mom and pop type grocery with a coworker a few years back. They had RC in the cooler and he got all nostalgic and said he hadn't had one in forever so he bought one. We made it about two blocks and he opened it and said it tasted flat. I'd have just chalked it up as a loss but he went back and swapped it for another. Same problem with the second one so he ended up with a Coke or Pepsi. I asked him if he maybe just forgot that he doesn't like the stuff. He was not so amused.

It's available here in my section of occupied VA, not every grocery store has it but several do. I've began getting RC instead of Coke or Pepsi products. I was watching a YouTube video a few weeks ago; back when, most bartenders preferred to use RC for many mixed drinks. Less acidic, less fizz I guess. RC does seem to mix with Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum. Smile
