As of 12:30 AM reporting (75 to 85 percent reporting) state results:
  • Republican Governor - Greg Abbott winner (67%)
  • Republican Lt Governor - Dan Patrick winner (77%)
  • Republican Attorney General - Looking like run-off between Ken Paxton (43%) and either Bush (23%) or Guzman (18%)
  • Demonrat Governor - Robert Francis O'Rourke winner (91%)
  • Demonrat Lt Governor - Looking like run-off between Mike Collier (43%) and either Beckley (30%) or Brailey (28%)
  • Demonrat Attorney General - Looking like run-off between Rochelle Garza (44%) and either Jaworski (20%) and Merritt (19%)

    Other notable results:
  • US House District 2 Republican/RINO Dan Crenshaw won with 75%
  • US House District 2 Republican Morgan Luttrell (former SEAL and twin brother of Marcus Luttrell) has 53% of vote with 69% reporting. Needs to stay above 50% to avoid a run-off.
  • Demonrat Harris County (i.e. Houston) Judge Lina Hidalgo has 70% of the vote with 7% reporting.
  • Something funny going on in Harris County in general and hearing it may take days to get results Eek

The precinct at which I voted had probably 100 Republicans for every (1) Demotard that showed up. AT LEAST. But then again, it was in the Cypress/Spring/Tomball area, so it's bound to be way more Conservative than the Libtards voting in Houston proper.

I hope Mealer wins her run-off against Martinez for Harris County "Judge" and beats the crap outta that feckless, useless, moron Hidalgo. My cats could do a better job than that Libtarded piece of fecal matter...

And I did "pull the lever" for Alan West. But Gov. Abbott has that sealed up fairly well and I won't mind one bit voting for him in November.

Harris County, however, apparently did have issues with counting the votes yesterday. Not sure how big of a debacle it was, though...

  • the stats are nice, but without context, they're meaningless

how many people voted? thats the key number? How many republicans versus how many democrats?

The number of votes is very promising.

Robert Francis O'Dork got 91% of the 1.058M votes. Meanwhile Abbot got 66% (went down in last 14 hours) of 1.935M votes. In other words, Abbott got 1.285M votess and will likely pick up nearly all West, Huffines, and Prather voters.

Lt Gov and AG were about same total demonrat and republican votes.

I added up the numbers in Bell county and the Repubs out voted the dems. Last primary the dems had out voted the Rs by 3:1 or so. I’m very encouraged for the turn out and expect unless Biden reverses everything today the dems are gonna get clobbered in November.

Yes, but he personally keeps about 1 or 2% for "personal expenses". He made about 4 million on his senate run. He will be a rich retard.

The dems so want to turn Texas blue. Its an obsession. They will spend many millions on that effort. But even though it has waned a bit in the last 5 years (transplants from Cal. etc.) Texas is still 53% republican. I can't imagine many republicans changing colors and voting for Betto, so it all comes down to getting folks to the poles.

Abbott and Patrick (and the Lt. Gov. is more important than the governor when it comes to actual power) will win easily in the general election. Texas isn't currently close to electing Dems in statewide elections.

Hidalgo will win in Harris County. Harris County (Houston) will elect Dems pretty easily, county wide.

This is not rocket surgery and takes no particular expertise in political science.

I was going to mention this too. He's a professional candidate laughing all the way to the bank. Even when he loses an election, he still wins financially.

He was already rich before he ever ran for election. In spite of the image he presented during his senate run (and continues to present), he was/is much wealthier than Ted Cruz.
