The Dearborn Heights Police Department in Michigan introduced a new optional uniform patch featuring both English and Arabic script. The patch, created by Officer Emily Murdoch, is intended to honor and reflect the city’s Middle Eastern and North African population.

However, after the department shared the design on Facebook and X, Mayor Bill Bazzi chimed in to clarify that the patch is still in the internal discussion phase and had not undergone formal review.

Consequently, after receiving immense backlash from both Michigan residents and Americans across the nation, the original post was quickly deleted, and the patch has not been officially adopted at this time.

It is unclear whether the department is awaiting a later date to make it available to its officers.

The mayor and chief of police of the city, along with officer murdoch, should immediately self-deport to Sudan or Syria or Iran so they can fully immerse themselves in the culture that they are embracing.

Enough of this shit. We are being sold out by our local governments, and that is where the beginning of the end will start.

It's not a stretch to at some point imagine dual-signage at city hall showing the way to Municipal Court for American residents and المحكمة الشرعية (Sharia Court) for the invaders.

Michigan Police Help Muslim Immigrants Feel Welcome By Wearing Suicide Vests

DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI — In what experts described as a major step toward a greater level of inclusivity for law enforcement agencies across the country, one Michigan police department announced that it would help Muslim immigrants feel more welcome by having its officers wear suicide vests while out on patrol.

The Dearborn Heights Police Department, which provides law enforcement to a town with a significant number of Muslim residents, held a press conference to introduce its latest initiative to make Middle Easterners feel more at home by outfitting officers with authentic suicide vests.

"It's all about making the people here feel like they're at home," said Dearborn Heights Police Chief Ahmed Haidar. "Moving to a new country with an entirely different culture can be incredibly hard, so every little thing that makes them feel more welcome and reminds them of where they came from can help. That's why we've decided to issue vests wired with explosives to all of our officers. It makes our town feel a lot more like the Middle East."

Muslims in the city said they noticed a difference right away. "It's a little slice of home," said Dearborn Heights resident Anwar Al Majid. "Ever since I moved here, I noticed a distinct lack of suicide bombings and improvised explosive devices. It made the environment feel very foreign to me. Now, with the police wearing suicide vests, it's making me feel a lot more welcome. Thank you, and death to America."

At publishing time, the Dearborn Heights Police Department had also announced that it would institute a new policy of beating women in the streets if they refused to wear a hijab in public.

Shit like this need to stop. Stop immediately. They have decided to move to our country. And we are the ones who are supposed to make changes to make them feel welcomed? Come on now. Where do we draw the line? Roll Eyes

The walkback begins...

https://www.clickondetroit.com...niform-patch-change/

DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. – Photos circulating of a newly designed Dearborn Heights police patch that includes the Arabic and English versions of the same wording pushed out by Chief Ahmed Haidar have created a wave of backlash for the police department.

With the possibility of Dearborn Heights being the first police department to initiate this change in the country, many aren’t liking the idea.

“Every officer should walk into the next city council meeting and turn in their badge,” Coral Opps said on Facebook.

In a statement on Facebook, Dearborn Heights Mayor Bill Bazzi said the renderings were leaked and should have never been released, claiming Chief Haidar didn’t have the proper approval, nor did he tell anyone he was initiating such a change.

“Should efforts like this be formally undertaken to make any changes to the Police uniform, it is our goal to include multiple PD stakeholders for a larger conversation, to ensure all are included in the discussion,” Bazzi said.

The Dearborn Heights Police Officers Association isn’t pleased with the proposed sudden change either, calling the chief’s call to release the photos a reckless decision that sparked countless threats and criticism to the department from around the country.

So, is the Mayor stating that the renderings were leaked and should not have been released, because they were not approved, and would not be approved, or because the possibility of backlash might "spoil" them being approved?

It matters.

First, there needs to be transparency for the good of public trust in all things.

Except those cases where such disclosure is not in the best interest of the public at specific points in time. (as in criminal cases, investigations, and due process that would be harmed by disclosure at the incorrect time).

The PD serves at the pleasure of the people, all symbols, patches, identifying characteristics are part of the public property and public information, of the taxpayers, and the people have a right to be involved in changes with enough notice and time to have their say in such matters.

Otherwise, we get "rainbow flags", cops in drag, and similar garbage like what the military dealt with.

It's wrong to start selective "inclusion", as that is explicit "exclusion", and none of that crap has any place in such "identity" protocol.

It sounds to me as if this was going to be "done, approved and implemented" without out public knowing, and then a "shrug" after the fact.

And that is egregious and shameful.

Absolutely not. This is now the insurgency takes hold in the main stream. I've already fought in two theaters to keep this shit there. We should not be embracing the third world or their "culture". This is only part of the domestic enemy.

Chief Ahmad Haidar? Wonder what his background is? I'd be very curious to look at the resume he presented to get hired, where he worked before, and if any of it was in the USA. Just a wild stab here, but I'd be willing to wager his job experience was somewhere in the middle east (Haidar is a common Syrian name, I think).

I also like the idea of implementing Sharia courts for those adhering to its principals. I'm sure we can make voting accommodations for those who have lost both hands for theft, and who have had their tongues torn out for blasphemy!

One of two things happened-
"Oh shit, we got caught doing something dumb!"
or
"This is gonna be cool! Trust me, everyone is gonna love... OH SHIT! REVERSE!!! GO IN REVERSE!!! GET OUTTA HERE!!!"
