YooperSigsWile E. Coyote was right! A shout out.
I was tool shopping earlier this week and came across this tool vendor: Acme Tools.
www.acmetools.comI placed an order on Tuesday. It arrived today via Fedex. 4 day shipping. At Christmas time, no less.
Prices are competitive. Wile was right! I will be checking them for my tool needs in the future.

architectSeem to have a pretty decent line, and competitive prices. Don't see any rockets, though.
You will tell us if the big box that arrives at your house has a large "ACME" lettered on it?

RogueJSKNo rockets, roller skates, or pianos... but they do sell anvils.

YooperSigsFree shipping.... After you spend $199. Easily met if you are a tool-a-holic. Or if your anvil price meets that level!

While their two anvils definitely meet the level for free shipping (the 77 pound one is $650, and the 165 pound one is $1600

), there's an additional $50 handling charge for heavy items like those.

.38supersigI just hope the delivery guy doesn't try to drive through the freshly painted tunnel.

mark60I don't know if they still run the deals they used to, but it used to be pretty common to get 20% off fairly often.

ranger312ACME Tools has a large store in Des Moines. Mostly cater to contractors. They carry a lot of woodworking tools and machinery also. All name brand products. If you have a store nearby you can have things shipped to the store and not pay freight.
