I was tool shopping earlier this week and came across this tool vendor: Acme Tools. www.acmetools.com I placed an order on Tuesday. It arrived today via Fedex. 4 day shipping. At Christmas time, no less. Prices are competitive. Wile was right! I will be checking them for my tool needs in the future.

While their two anvils definitely meet the level for free shipping (the 77 pound one is $650, and the 165 pound one is $1600 ), there's an additional $50 handling charge for heavy items like those.
I just hope the delivery guy doesn't try to drive through the freshly painted tunnel.

Acme Tools is the professional version of Harbor Freight. You can find just about everything tool wise there but from quality brands. They even carry Festool if you want to step up to the plate.

ACME Tools has a large store in Des Moines. Mostly cater to contractors. They carry a lot of woodworking tools and machinery also. All name brand products. If you have a store nearby you can have things shipped to the store and not pay freight.
