We went to visit my wifes' uncle in Madison Wis. and had a tire going bad so we stopped at a Wal Mart tire store and the place was closed that day on Mondays, what the hell.

We drive 150 miles round trip to get to our nearby one. And it’s a pretty sorry excuse for a Walmart. It always appears to have been recently sacked by our neighbors from sunny Mexico, and it doesn’t have a register or exit from the automotive supply department-they don’t do any auto service at that store. Which is probably smart.

And I’ve never seen a Walmart with 13 checkout lanes open. That’s now on my bucket list.

Holy cow, where do you live, Montana? There are three Walmart's within 15 minutes of my house, yet I haven't bought anything in one in probably a decade.

I live maybe 90 miles south of you, there are 3 Walmart’s, each about 40 minutes away. Wink

How many millions of people shop at Wal-Mart and you are smarter than 170 of them?

ditto here, and not including at least one neighborhood market
one is an 'upscale' supercenter,
that is the one my wife shops at, and only early in the AM,

Last time I went to the Go store I bought a Coke and Gummi Bears. It took me 58 seconds. My shortest shopping time in there was 19 seconds for a Mountain Dew Kickstart.
