Sorry to burst your bubble, but this will not happen. CA will NEVER be the state of Reagan again. The fix is in, the game is rigged. Hillary votes in CA outnumbered Trump's by a huge 2:1 margin, I don't think any other state comes close. CA was and will continue to be the destination state for leftists in this country and now the #1 destination for illegal Mexicans. The San Francisco political machine has completely taken over Sacramento, and will continue for years to come. Jerry Brown finishes his term next year, and Gavin Newsom will become the next governor, who is more of a commie.

If you thought Moonbeam was bad, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Yep, like mentioned above. As soon as fed funds end the SHTF. If the govt goes soft and continues to fund this bullshit we have bigger problems. The country already can't afford this crap. Commifornia is already in heavy debt. Do they expect you and me to pay? Not if I can help it. We will have to start booting out these a$$hats. Of course we have done such a fine job of that so far.

Jerry Brown was fully retarded before signing this shit. This state sucks so much ass, I can't wait to leave.

We're going to do what oddball is doing, either northern Texas or Oklahoma. Our goal is to make it four more years, earliest I can retire.

What could possibly go wrong in CA?

- They openly welcome and protect those who have a tendency to break the laws.
- They subsidize such law breakers, who, on the whole, consume more than they produce, becoming an economic burden on society. This segment is growing.
- Their rich elitists (including many politicians and bureaucrats) openly promote socialism for masses, but they practice capitalism for themselves. They are very generous with other's money.
- Politicians compensate public employees (including themselves) quite highly, from public coffers. At expected rates of return on the pension funds, CA has a pension shortfall (unfunded liability) of about $1 Trillion. There are three solutions: Pay employees $1T less than promised, raise taxes $1T, or kick the can down the road until it blows up.

So what could possibly go wrong, other than in a few years down the road CA could mimic Venezuela. Roll Eyes

The only recourse would seem to be withdrawing Federal funds.

Isn't that what liberals do whenever a State tries to defy Federal laws or regulations ?

What prevents that ?

He's on a roll.

California can now start jailing people that refuse to use the preferred gender pronouns of nursing home residents after Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown signed the bill Thursday.

The law’s effect is limited to nursing homes and other long-term care facilities, but mandates that those who “willfully and repeatedly” refuse “to use a transgender resident’s preferred name or pronouns” can be slapped with a $1,000 fine and up to one year in prison, according to the California Heath and Safety code.

Known as the “LGBT Senior Bill Of Rights,” the legislation also requires nursing homes and care facilities to allow residents to use the bathroom of their choice, regardless of biological sex. The bill’s author, state Sen. Scott Weiner, argues that religious views don’t hold weight in public areas.

“Everyone is entitled to their religious view,” Wiener said. “But when you enter the public space, when you are running an institution, you are in a workplace, you are in a civil setting, and you have to follow the law.”

Wiener also released a statement thanking Brown for signing the bill.

“Our LGBT seniors built the modern LGBT community and led the fight for so many of the rights our community takes for granted today. It is our duty to make sure they can age with the dignity and respect they deserve,” Wiener wrote. “I want to thank Governor Brown for joining our coalition in supporting this bill, which will make a real difference in people’s lives. The LGBT Senior Bill of Rights is an important step in our fight to ensure all people are treated equally regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.”

An article I read about this Sanctuary state CRAP said California currently has an estimated 2.3 MILLION illegal aliens. Now that it is sanctuary, MORE will come to be safe. Unfucking believable.

It is a recourse, but not the only one. For example, the feds can get an injunction in fed court to its implementation and if necessary fight Commiefornia all the way to SCOTUS

God I hope not, Texas has too many already.....we just need to move the wall north.

Let CA turn into a commie ghetto.....a shining beacon on the hill for these red shits, maybe some will move back.

Sorry CA, unless something literally earth shattering happens, is lost......

Time to put language in the 2018 budget so we can cut off fed funding....

IMO, it has already happened.

Moonbeam signed a bill (AB60) several years ago to give illegals the ability to get a CA drivers license, already close to a million got 'em. Also feds can access driver's license info, but not immigration status or if they received one thru this bill.

Jerry also signed a "motor voter" law" last year that automatically registers licensed drivers to vote.

The above is more than ample proof that illegal immigration is a power grab to insure Democrats keep CA for good.

Moonbeam, the guy that keeps giving.

...but the next guy will be worse.

The theory behind giving them a drivers license was that they would then get auto insurance. It DID NOT happen. Hit and run crashes and un-insured drivers is rampant.

Now they can live in California in 'sanctuary' and not pay taxes, free health care, free schooling, etc., etc. This state has gone to hell.

Not pay taxes, not obey traffic laws, get free health and schooling, subsidized housing and living expenses, all while denouncing America as oppressive and celebrating their homeland. And Moonbeam believes such is "enlightened". Roll Eyes

Yes... but the key is to not let the cancer spread to the remaining 49 states.

There's a Calexit thread somewhere with some thoughts and ideas on that....

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Could you imagine the response if liberals somehow got another ban passed and Texas passed a sanctuary state law for the Second Amendment?

Montana has already passed the Firearms Freedom Act.

http://firearmsfreedomact.com/

As for CA, the state govt facillitating the unarmed invasion of the USA is contemptable and actionable.
