As a career infantryman...hell yes! I am a very delicate flower and need to be constantly nourished.  j/kMy favorite tactic is to act like I don't have a clue when people try to offend me, thank them etc. It's funny to take away their power. I mean if they are using "mean" words and you don't GAF, and they are unwilling to make it physical ("bring it!"), then they don't have anything left... I try to be nice to everyone whether they are nice to me or not, their behavior doesn't dictate mine. I guess it depends on your definition of "offended". I'm pretty thin-skinned on some subjects, but I'm just enough of a contrary prick that I work really hard at not letting it show. Calling me names, casting aspersions on my ancestry or other juvenile attempts to get my goat are utterly ineffective. I know it's not true, I don't give a fuck what you think.
