Setting this up seems pretty straightforward. The tank is positioned "inline" along the main line entering the garage. It's PVC.

The kicker is that these systems require a flush line. I'll use 5/8" ID clear hose, and it will run once every five days for about 30 minutes to flush out the system.

I plan on putting the tank in the garage instead of outside. Outside installation requires HOA review, plus I'd need to figure out power. Inside the garage, there is a clean installation, except for the aforementioned flush line.

There is no drain anywhere near where the water comes into the house, or where the tank will be installed in the garage.

Suggestions are requested as to what to do with the flush line. Option A is to drill a hole through the concrete block and run the line outside.

Evil exists. You can not negotiate with, bribe or placate evil. You're not going to be able to have it sit down with Dr. Phil for an anger management session either.

That's what I would do if no drains. I might try and incorporate a P trap.

That’s what I did with mine at my last house, ran the drain/flush line thru the wall to outside and then let it run into an existing g French drain to the ditch by the road.
