Just went online and apparently, they have just started posting pictures of the killer. They are still trying to blame social media for the riots instead of their own inaction and initial dishonesty.

Just about all of the news media in the UK is out of London. Like here in the US with how NYC is viewed, London is a world unto itself and the vast majority there never go north of Oxford..which isn't very far. This tragedy occurred in the North of the country, far from London, just outside of Liverpool and West of Manchester, two long-time blue collar working cities, think Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Detroit, etc.. In Game of Thrones terms, these places are pretty much next to The Wall.

British atuhorities have shuffled-off the newly arrived to these old blue-collar areas and put them up in government housing. Both areas have large migrant populations that have had troubled assimilation histories; the Rochdale child sex abuse ring was in Manchester whose perpetrators were of Pakistani origin.
Like the US Southern border region, the levers of power in the capitol and the big media giants are disconnected from the realities on the ground, pushback from locals are characterized as being bigoted, chauvinistic and racist because they don't conform to their views of inclusion and acceptance. Never mind the repeated heinous acts and violence perpetrated against children, the use of lawfare against those standing-up and expressing their anger and the minimizing of the acts by the government in an effort to 'not offend'.

The last time I went to England was about 6 years ago, flew into Heathrow. Immigration/Customs official barely spoke understandable English. Went to pickup rental car (Polish), drove to Hilton Hotel in Maidstone reception desk both were Greek.
Breakfast buffet waitresses Ukrainian and Polish. Decided to take taxi downtown have dinner and drinks with the kids, driver Romanian. Bought a poppy because it was in November and they were selling them at a booth. Finally met an old Englishman. He was happy to meet someone that spoke his language. Glad I got to see England in the 70's and 80's.

My perception is that the British are not a particularly reactionary people, but it seems that the violent deaths of these three children may be the straw that broke the camel's back.

I don't know if the corporate media is covering this. My guess is probably not, or perhaps obliquely, but it's all over Twitter. I've no intention of posting any of it, but some on social media are characterizing the clashes as 'civil war'. I wouldn't go that far at this point. What I will say is that the British government and the violent, entitled immigrant trash which is drowning London and other city centers should consider themselves very fortunate that in the main, the citizens of England are not armed.

Perhaps tacfoley might provide some perspective. I know that he does at times take exception to stateside commentary on his nation. Perfectly understandable, and my remarks are not intended to disparage England; quite the opposite.

I've been watching this closely since it happened. The only reason a judge released his name - "under 18 protection" - is he will be 18 in a few days. When they finally released a picture, it was one of him years younger looking like an innocent kid. The artist's sketch is more accurate I'm sure.

The biggest gripe over there has become two-tier policing. Migrants, pro-Palestinian demonstrators and leftists are treated with kid gloves. Meanwhile ordinary Britons concerned for their kids and communities are branded "far right thugs" en masse by Labour PM 'two-tier Keir" Starmer. Yes, a small minority are thugs taking advantage of the disorder, but ordinary people being randomly removed by snatch squads from the crowd and arrested just to pump up the numbers and feed the narrative is totally biased.

Tacfoley will appreciate this, but it's gotten to the point that yesterday white Unionist and Republican Irish people were marching together on the streets of Belfast under both the tricolour of the Republic AND the Union Jack.

The guy I've been watching a lot is Mahyar Tousi. He's a British citizen second generation Iranian whose family, IIRC, fled the fall of the Shah.

Thank you, Para and Blackmore - So far we have seen FIVE sets of civil disturbance, at least one centered around a mosque, although we have yet to be told, if indeed that ever happens, what religion he follows. A number of police vehicles have been destroyed, and many police officers injured, and last night a deal of looting took place. Given that UK has more CCTV per capita than any other place on earth, a police spokesperson advised those responsible, who were mostly already known to the police, that they heed pay attention to the next knock on their door. It will NOT be a Jehovah's Witness.

This level of violent reaction, on a par with that seen in Dublin recently in protest against the large number of immigrants being given preferential housing treatment over citizens, will inevitably flow over into other cities, with predictable results.

This situation is truly appalling, but I have to say, unexpected, given the backlash against the ever-increasing incursion of foreigners who share neither history, morals or religion with the rest of the 67 million people who live here.

The title of this video is unfortunate. Because it really isn't about Tommy Robinson. It's about how he has been screaming this issue from the rooftop for more than a decade, and how the British government threw him in solitary confinement and even tried to have him killed by placing him in a muslim controlled prison.

If you want to skip around, skip the first 10-15 minutes, which is about Canada arresting him for the crime of being in Canada. The rest of it really needs to be watched start to finish. My mouth fell open every few minutes.

Give it a watch for at least a bit and see if it doesn't suck you in. I watched (listened) to the whole thing. And it is frankly shocking.
