On the video I saw of the police response, it was pathetic to say the least. They ran away from the guy repeatedly after somewhat surrounding him. It is sad to see how their own laws/rules work against them.

I just read the English government is claiming that this is false information being posted by Russian trolls. There is really only one way for governments to dispute this they need to stop trying to cover up or protect suspects. I think they sow more discord with their word games and lack of information about suspects.

Just went online and apparently, they have just started posting pictures of the killer. They are still trying to blame social media for the riots instead of their own inaction and initial dishonesty.

This sketch is credited to the Liverpool Crown Court. I suppose authorities are claiming that a sketch artist in the employ of the government fabricated this image from their imagination and issued it to the news media all on their own?

The last time I looked they were making all sorts of false claims, but now the truth is coming out.

The English used to do things right, drawn and quartered should be reinstated. I think that on TV would be a great deterrence.

I frequently get into discussions with Europeans and Aussies/Kiwis due to my international work and they constantly deride the U.S. for having so many guns, and such high crime and murder rates ad nauseum.

They never seem to understand that almost all of the murders occur in a small number of high crime ghetto counties, and the vast majority of the U.S. is relatively crime free. They also don't seem to understand the demographics of who commits most violent crimes. They don't understand the demographics of their own countries and grossly overestimate the populations of minorities.

I was in England earlier this year. In the midlands and north, it's almost all native brits, and it's safe with minimal crime and violence. New Castle on a Saturday with drunks all over when the bars got out - no issues except the girls in high heels and short dresses who fall down a lot. London? Now that's a different story and the crime is directly proportional to the immigrant population.

But now, they seem to be getting an idea of why we keep our guns and who commits the crimes...

They are 'Welsh' because of their place of residence. Given the extreme unlikeliness that they have taken the U Citizens' test, and been made citizens of the UK, they will be noted simply as having British nationality.

C'mon, folks, they are plainly NOT Welsh, are they?

Nor Scottish, nor English and not Northern Irish, either.

What they are is Asians, from the region of Pakistan, India and Bangladesh - maybe even some kind of Arab.

But not Welsh.
