They’ll play two games in China next year to make up for it.

The Real Salt Lake soccer team just canceled their game too due to players protesting the death of a criminal. I tell you what, I think this move just might turn the tide. Roll Eyes

Well I’m tickled that they’re boycotting one of the most obvious examples that America is a post-racism nation.

Good job guys.

Out of 528 NBA players?

Taking away their entourages and enablers?

Maybe 50-60. There are some who actually went to class and have a head on their shoulders, but I doubt it's a very large number.

If I'm wrong, more power to them. But I don't think I'm far off.

The Washington Football Team in the NFL cancelled a scrimmage at their stadium for Thursday as well.

Great ,they are thinking of others instead if themselves .

Let's see how many of them are mentoring the thugs ,theives and felons that they are supporting.

You know, the people who never get a break?

Good for them for putting in forty hours a week and millions of dollars, gratis for the betterment of a Nation.

Here’s hoping all the “playas” stick to their belief America is racist and leave the plantations & masters. Quit, walk away never to play again. See who cares. Ball fields & parks are full of folks willing to play ball for much, much, much less.

These multi, multi multi millionaires have the opportunity to fulfill the hope of W.E.B.Dubois & become the “talented tenth”. Invest in your communities playas.

Yeah. I'm good with that. Hopefully they never play again.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

So if no games, then no ticket sales, no concession revenues, no advertising revenues. Will the players expect (demand) the same paycheck??

Most pro sports players do get quite healthy paychecks. I understand for NFL, somewhat NBA, a goodly percentage of such players are bankrupt not many years after retirement.

Seriously? How stupid are these players? I know they're stupid. The question is how far down in that bottomless pit do these dolts reside? My God!

Is this supposed to serve as some sort of punishment for us? Big Grin

What would really punish me is if James never played a game again, Para. I can't stop smiling.
