| I have a whirlpool french door dual icemaker and I had issues with it in the first year which they covered under warranty (replaced circuit board and something else) and it's been fine ever since for the past 2-3 years. |

On a side note. I highly recommend replacing that cheap plastic hose that goes from the fridge to the faucet in the wall. They get brittle over time and break. We woke up one morning with our hard wood floors in the kitchen covered in water. It had been running long enough that water was dripping on the cars in the garage below. We replaced the line with a braided stainless line with some kind of emergency shut off if it gets a high pressure surge of water.
Yup; 1000%

| Bosch here too with water on inside left. No mechanical issues at 1+ year usage. Bosch in-fridge filters seem to die at 6 months and kills pressure/volume to ice maker and water filler, resulting in slow water fills and very slow cube making. I installed an in-line filter and bought a bosch filter plug eliminating in-fridge filters. So far working good. If you see the green light flashing on the ice maker might be low pressure/volume.

| We have a GE French door refrigerator with icemaker and water in the door and freezer on the bottom that is about five or six years old. The icemaker dispenser has two issues that require the door to be replaced, a $1000 expense on a fridge that cost just under $2000 new. The technician told me such issues are quite common. He said he could replace the spring (issue 2) for only $50, but without fixing the other issue, the spring wouldn't last long before it messed up again. I thanked the technician, sent him on his way, and put ice trays in the freezer . I'll never have another icemaker and dispenser in the door.

| Samsung is the biggest POS refrigerator I have ever owned. Every week I have to defrost the damn icemaker.

| I specifically ordered mine without the in door ice maker. They will leak.
