Not that it matters, but I too am a life member. As you can tell, there is an air of displeasure with the NRA. I have read over your posts a few times, thank you for your cancer work. I have witnessed three people die from cancer in less than a year, one just last week. Can you tell us what will change from the past NRA? What improvements will you attempt to make? How will you try and avoid the errors of the past? I know that you alone cannot change everything, Thanks for answering my questions about legislative involvement. Even though you mention prior work that led to current rulings, it does seem like the NRA is absent recently with other orgs on the winning side of recent rulings. The owner of Rare Breed claims he went with NAGR since the NRA would not help (at least to the best of my recollection). Maybe that is true, maybe not, maybe my memory is wrong. But I would like to see the NRA involved in all the current federal legislative action until the NFA is repealed.

@DonSaba sorry to be this guy, but you are seeking a position where you will be responsible for making financial decisions With other people’s money: Any papers etc with your name on it? I couldn’t find any. Admittedly, I do not have access to pub med right now. Couldn’t find anything referring to that at all. BS-3595-C401. In Theory, this will be the "seal" verifying that I am an attorney, and when I was licensed/the authority was last contacted, and confirmed it to be active.

Thanks for your willingness to serve. I have a couple of questions: What to you think about the recent reorganization of the NRA’s 11 member executive committee; in what specific ways does it enhance or threaten accountability to the members and/or fidelity to the NRA’s mission? Jeff Knox appears to support efforts to reduce the board by a total of 30 seats over a three year period; a 10 seat reduction per year over three years. While there’s a good chance I’m wrong about this it seems that the larger board in the past made it easier for leadership to be unresponsive to members and to keep semi active board members on the board. It seems to me that a board of 46 plus the executive committee would be sufficient to supply the expertise necessary. You appear to be at odds with any reduction. Why? If the current size of the board continues, how would you insure that those on the board are active, contributing members responsive to member concerns? Thanks, Silent
