We have dillos digging in the flower beds around the house. I live in a neighborhood so I can’t dispatch them with a 12 ga., or kill them with fire. Can anyone recommend an effective product that will keep these little beasts away?

I believe the standard suggestion is mothballs. And no, I don’t know how you get the moth’s little legs apart.

There is an Armadillo repellant at Home Depot. I've been using it for years. It works.

You need to get rid of the root cause they are in the plant beds which is generally grubs, They are a big food source for the Armadillos

Speak with your local nursery about what they suggest for your plant beds.

In the movie A Tiger's Tale Charles Durning has some great advice (see 13:10).

If you have armadillos, you clearly need a tiger.

Eating armadillo ranks with eating possum.

Not even cooked in bacon grease and smothered in bacon.

Do you know for sure that the government has taken your God given right to do so?

I had a squirrel problem and my wife said the same thing. I asked a lawyer friend who responded to my question of "How much firepower can I employ against a squirrel in my tree in my neighborhood?", with a mushroom cloud gif.
The reason I make my post, is we Americans lately have taken the position of assuming something is illegal. I think its time we start taking more interest in which of God's laws the government is infringing on.

Get some chickens once the road is in. The armadillos will see the chickens crossing the road and figure if the chickens can do it, they can too. Except they can’t because their heads are too low to the ground to see anything but a chicken while crossing the road.
