Back to the hospital today. Just got home Tuesday night after a nearly 5-day stay (most of it in the ER, but that's a different part of the story), and it appears I may have been discharged too early and need to go back for a few more days. <sigh>

Whoever said getting old wasn't for the faint of heart was 100% correct! More later when I find out what the ENT says...

The more muscles I pull tying my shoes, the older I feel. Yep...it sucks. Hope you're back to normal (whatever that is) soon!

Prayers for a speedy recovery.

I just turned 51, in the best physical shape since I left the Army 20 years ago but Lord do I have a lot of aches and pains

BB, there's a good chance there will be some lovely young nurses catering to your needs, smiling and giving you the time of day, so there's that. Smile

Get well soon! Old age and gravity sucks, although some say, "There is no such thing as gravity, what keeps everything from floating off into space is the fact that the whole world sucks"!

Hopefully you're back up to snuff soon. I've said for a while now that getting old isn't for sissies.

I gave up wearing socks, tie shoes, and anything other than sweat pants several years ago.
The pain is not worth it anymore.
I wish you well in your recovery.

My best to you. Between doctors, hospitals, and the bills that always follow, it all sucks.

Let me leave you with this thought:
Everyone gets to be young.
But not everyone gets to be old.
be thankful.

Thanks everyone! Ended up not having to be readmitted, though I thinking I probably should have. Doc just added another antibiotic onto what I'm already taking to "see what happens". So far it isn't helping one bit. Will know more tomorrow after I've had it in my system for at least 24 hours.
