Local grocery store carries Australian Wagyu that is great. Every couple of months I treat myself

Nowhere close to real Japanese A5.

I’d consider it USDA Prime++. It’s more tender than a US Wagyu ranch closest to me, similar flavor. Next time I’m over in the Mobile AL area I’m going to pick some up from a ranch there to try. I’d much prefer to support someone localish
