Recover quickly! And listen to your nurse Smile

One happy thought: You will never have to have a hysterectomy again!

PS: No laughing. That will hurt.

"The designer of the gun had clearly not been instructed to beat about the bush. 'Make it evil,' he'd been told. 'Make it totally clear that this gun has a right end and a wrong end. Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams

“It is just as difficult and dangerous to try to free a people that wants to remain servile as it is to try to enslave a people that wants to remain free."
-Niccolo Machiavelli

The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all. -Mencken

Wait until you see a family member of a very experienced CCU/ICU nurse under the care of a nurse with little experience or in a facility that assigns nurses just the responsibilities that an aide would take care of elsewhere.

Ha! No fair making me laugh you guys.

Yes, thankfully it was minimally invasive. Took about 3 hrs though thanks to dreaded scar tissue, adhesions, and endometriosis involvement.

I came home the same day and have been shuffling around the house as needed since. Not fun! But thankfully no hospital stay or inexperienced care givers to deal with.

I would love to put 2018 in the rear view and have a healthy happy 2019!

Funny part is I still have a colonoscopy scheduled for next month (due to the micro perforation a little while ago.) I am cancelling that though. I think it would be too painful this close to the hysterectomy and perhaps even dangerous.

I appreciate the good thoughts and laughs though they hurt!

If it won't matter in 5 years don't give it more than 5 minutes.

Best wishes. Some of the best people I have ever met were nurses. Especially Hospice nurses.
