AS4, it's what I have used on my cars for years and what I'm using for current car's winter wheels. Jesse Sic Semper Tyrannis

Edge seeking Sharp blade! |
I got the A/S 4 installed today. Rides great and worked well in some slush. I had thought the previous set I got 80K out of was Pilot Sport A/S 3, but it wasn't (got confused with what's on my Mustang) They were less sporty 60K mile warranted Michelin Premier A/S. My new A/S 4 are Y speed rated to 189 MPH. That'll come in handy. I think my 530I has a top speed just over 150.This message has been edited. Last edited by: pbslinger,

A slightly more in depth review of the AS4 is they ride very smooth and are very quiet. The brake feel seems improved and it seems easier to modulate over the previous Michelin Premier I had previously. I've never noticed such a change in braking feel with a tire change before. I wondered if I was giving up too much over the CrossClimate 2 in going to a 45 thousand mile warranty tire over the 60K CrossClimate. As much as I like the A/S 4 at this point, the 15K loss of tire mileage is likely worth it.

I swear I had something for this |
Yep. The Premier makes much more sense on the mileage you got. The UHP All Season class is the literal "Do Everything" tire, and from reports, the AS4 is almost as good as the CrossClimate 2 in the snow. If there wasn't such a deal on the Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate, I probably would have ended up with these.
