I watched all the Cowboy games, and listen to sports radio every morning, and I don't recall seeing/hearing anything about anthem protests this year. If they happened, maybe the league and TV networks had sense enough to make sure the cameras didn't show them. | |||

The players & NFL are the ones injecting their politice & their SJW bullshit. If they just played a game, none of this would have happened. Refusing to come out for the National Anthem is not good enough for me & many people. The NFL should have upheld their rules, & common decency, & never let their employees piss off a majority of their fan base, all based on some bullshit. They’ve made their bed, they can lie in it. With a handle like “PD”, I assume you are in law enforcement. I will also assume that you are not a racist, working in a systematically racist department, that murders innocent black kids every day. The NFL players & admin doesn’t agree with me, they think that you a racist, your whole department is racist, & that y’all murder black folks as much as you can get away with. Some of the nicest people I know are people who I have nothing in common with politically, economically, or spiritually. Because they are not like me does not make them my enemy. I’m speaking personally. Not some azz’ole we saw on the news or some celebrity/politician I’ll never meet. Just everyday people. Hell, you would think those sitting at VFW bar are all like-minded individuals but that’s not the case. Everyone has an opinion. We’re all entitled to one. Do I think I’m right?
