Cheap solution is to turn on the wipers and shut the ignition off when they are half up (or down) and put a piece of cardboard under them. | |||

If your son can't get up in time to warm his car up, i doubt he'd take the 10 minutes or so it looks like it'd take to attach that! Get him a remote start. Total game changer. I'm not sure about that brand, but I bought the FrostBlocker brand at Costco, 4 years ago, and it's still going strong. I start the car, turn on the rear defrost, crank the heater temp to max, with the fan on the lowest setting. What about them? I just assumed scraping the windows, and leaving the snow on your roof was proper etiquette. At least, that’s what it seems to be around here. | |||

That's better than around me. They just make a fist sized hole in the snow on the front windshield and drive that way. No need to see to the sides or the rear. P229 357SIG Man, get his lazy ass a remote start. Did the same for my kids. Not minority enough! | |||

We have a couple from AutoAnything a few years back that were custom fit. I forget the brand.
