Thank you so much, everybody for you kind words about my dad. I agree with every single one of you, he was one of the absolute best people I've ever known, and although it will get easier to deal with, my heart will always be aching with this loss.

I am so grateful that he made such an impact in the lives of so many others, and I hope that his spirit will live on within each and every one of y'all. Hug your children, your own fathers. Don't ever assume you have more time, he may have been one of the strongest and resilient men I have ever known, but when his time came it was a reminder that our time here is limited, no matter how great of a person you are.

I tend to prefer shooting alone, or with my dad, so I haven't met many of y'all, but he loved his sigforum family, his invisible friends he called a lot of y'all. If you are local to central Florida, and would like to celebrate his life, below is the information regarding his service.

We will be celebrating the life of Anthony Theodore Mohler III on Monday May 12th, 2025

11:00AM Visitation followed by a 12:00 PM Mass at the Church of St. Mary Our Lady of Sorrows
18810 U.S. 41 Masaryktown, FL 34604

A funeral Precession will then escort us to the Florida National Cemetery
6502 SW 102nd Avenue Bushnell, FL 33513

He will then be laid to rest with Military Honors PROMPTLY at 14:00 (2pm)

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to HawkTalk, Inc., a rescue center for birds of prey - They rehabilitate and care for all raptors that cannot be released back into the wild - Hawks, Owls, Eagles, Kites, Falcons, and Ospreys

https://hawktalk.org - the PayPal email for donations is monteen@hawktalk.org - he had a soft spot for this charity and it was close to his heart, being a Florida boy

She's "okay" in the aspect that she just hasn't posted, I think she just prefers to lurk. She's holding in there, as am I, but much like myself she's not okay with this at all.

This is where the name comes from, when I was growing up we always had Rottweilers, and his license plate was ROTNDAD.

I meant "OK" in the sense of physical health. Of course, I would not expect anyone to be "OK" with the loss of a spouse or other family member.

Tony was a true gentleman. It was my privelage to know him, to shoot with him at a couple SIGforum get-togethers, and to host him a few times when he came to visit me at the airport.

We have all lost a good friend, and you, rotnson, and TSM11, have lost a father and a husband. I hope that the respect that has been expressed here for him, helps you through this difficult time.

Prayers offered up for the family. We just had a lady friend of ours die yesterday. She was the same age and I’m only two years behind. Makes me think how much I need to make preparations because tomorrow is never guaranteed. I’ll miss his posts.

Hello Rick.

Your taking time to come hear and share with us "strangers to you" is very much appreciated.

I am confident your father's pride in the man you are was and always will be justified.

And you mother is blessed by you.

Thank you.

Michael
