Edge browser - doesn't open "reply" window? Login/Join

On iOS, I'm trying to get off Google products including Chrome browser. Was using Safari but it seems like Edge on PC and iOS can sync bookmarks (unlike Safari unless I install more apple crap on my PC).

The problem is that when I use Edge on iOS and I try to reply to a thread, I get a "Hmmm, can't reach this page" error.

Any ideas why? I can't seem to find any help on this - errors like this when searcing seem PC centric and not for iOS (fixes apply to PC Windows).

If we were talking about Windows, the first thing that comes to mind is that the popup blocker of the browser is enabled. For whatever that's worth to you...

Thanks Para -- this is on iOS but that's one of the first things I checked. Enabling/Disabling Pop-Ups doesn't seem to have an effect -- either way I still get the same error message. Unless I'm supposed to do something like reboot after changing settings.

On Windows, they say one fix is to enable IPV6 but not sure if / how to check / set on iOS (v12 on iPhone 6S).

10 figures of valuation and these companies can't deliver a turn key solution for simple everyday browsing Smile

Edge (Windows 10 only)
Microsoft Edge for Windows 10 has no per-website control over blocking pop-up windows. Pop-ups are either blocked, or they are not. To allow pop-ups:

Click the ellipsis icon (...) in the upper right corner of your web browser, and then click Settings.
In the Advanced settings section, click View advanced settings.
In the Block pop-ups section, click the switch to Off. Pop-ups are now allowed.
To block pop-ups once again, click the switch to On.
Note: If you are concerned about allowing pop-ups globally for all websites that you browse, consider using another web browser that allows website exceptions such as Chrome or Firefox.

Thanks - it doesn't appear to be a pop up issue. I've tested with the testing on and off.

Seems like the browser is trying to reach null address "http://" instead of the reply window.

Back to Safari for now.
