I'd love to see an officer say "I am the supervisor for the area, how can I help you"
I did see a video where a woman demanded a supervisor and the Officer said NO . She said that he had to and the Officer said that he wasn't going to do it . Case closed .

When any of my customers trotted out "I want to speak with your Supervisor" or "I know the Chief or Mayor or other VIP" my response was always:
"Great! You can call him after you are booked into jail"!
The other tired ass comment was "I pay your salary"! I always offered them a nickle and said "Here is a full refund"!

Whats that old joke?

50% of the women in the US are medicated for mental issues, the other half are walking around unmedicated.

We need mental health institutions back, the officer has the patience of Job....

No one wants to pay for it, but complain about this out of control behavior. Not long ago we threw them in institutions for YEARS and no decent treatment whatsoever. Snake pits would be a polite description.

This one, though, is exceptional. It goes beyond the usual issues of ignorant, arrogant, uncultured leftist brats filled with false empowerment, and a society and justice system that is permissive of such behavior.

Here we have someone who is clearly insane, filled with unquenchable anger. For her tantrum, she received a 90 sentence, but because of (I imagine) her lack of any sort of meaningful, authentically close relationship with anyone else, no one bailed her out of jail after she was arrested, and she spent 141 days in lockup.

If anything at all might calm her down for the next encounter with authority, that should do it, but something tells me that it will have no positive effect on her. It's my feeling that this person will not see the age of 40.

Holy cow. I'm watching Linda Blair in "The Exorcist."

Edited to add: I see someone already connected the reference.

I have two things to say about the original video:

1) Cops are not paid well enough; and

2) Sometimes I feel cops should be able to beat people up. I think some people need a dose of hickory shampoo every now and then.

Worlds changed, it's not the inquisition running things or doing tests with electric shock therapy...

We have pharmacology that has successfully developed medications to help, but you are spot on, politicians do not want to pay for the costs of incarceration or mental health institutions.

They'd rather spend $100,000 on a toilet in space or a billion on teaching African children how to masterbate.

I would pay to see it if she talked like that to a judge.

I'm just a couple minutes in, but rip her ass out of the car and hook her for misuse of 911 and disordely. Problem solved.

ETA: I skimmed through the rest of it because I could only take so much. I stand by my original analysis. You've got her commiting multiple crimes in your presence at the very beginning. Make the arrest and let her be the jail's problem for the rest of the night, otherwise it'll turn into the gift that keeps on giving. Which it did.

I don't know how a judge handles someone like that, who is clearly not in control of their faculties. She's what we call in the insurance biz "SMI" - seriously mentally ill. That she spent 141 days in lockup suggests no one knew what to do with her and the mental health pros were not called in on this one.

I don’t know if she is literally insane, or just so incapable of controlling her emotions that she has allowed her anger to control her. At the very least she needs some serious help with anger management. Of course, the option of tossing her in a snake pit and leaving her there for the rest of her life could work too…
