My stepdad passed peacefully this morning.

9 Sep 25 - 29 May 21

In addition to being a WWII vet, he was a retired LEO. Great stepfather. My 95 yo mom's a wreck.... They were married almost 50 years.

My condolences to you and your family. Your stepfather was one of a truly remarkable generation in this country, and there are only a few left. I know he'll be well received in God's kindom. My prayers for your mom--after so long married she will feel incredible separation. My prayers for you and the rest of the family, too--but keep your mom close.

RIP sir--you deserve your peace.

So sorry for your loss, bald1. If there's a Valhalla kinda place for heroes (as in the Norse myths), he will be there. May he rest in peace.
