For a friend. Anyone recommend a good unit?

I think you are referring to a wine storage unit.

Do you have a place where you can manage the temperature fairly closely and need only a storage rack, or do you need a small refrigerated unit that will keep temperature?

You can start looking here to zero in on what you have in mind. https://www.williams-sonoma.co...r/beer-wine-storage/

Thanks, JALLEN. Yes, I think she means wine storage unit, a refrigerated one. She's been shopping online, but could really use personal recommendations.

Look at the link. There is one single zone, 45 bottle, under the counter unit. You can narrow the specs from this.

We had a similar unit in our home in Coronado, somewhat larger, two temp zones. Very useful for really good wines. Ours was supplied by the contractor when we remodeled. I don’t recall the brand, but once you decide the specs, the hunt will be simple.

Costco sometimes has them, and if so, that would be the way to go.
