Yes, I belong and find it beneficial. I knew many other law enforcement officers (active and retired) who used its secure ID features and had no problems, so I joined.

Yes, it’s as trustworthy as it gets. The VA now uses it as a login verification method.

I could use either ID.me or LOGIN.GOV to login to my IRS EFT account. But ID.me is the only allowed method to login to my standard IRS account.


Serious about crackers.

No problems here either. I’m finding more businesses use it to verify people quickly when offering military discounts

Like others I use it for VA login and it is required by some vendors that offer military discounts.

Active military and veterans are eligible for a discount when buying Apple products at the Apple website. Apple requires verification of military / veteran status via ID.me
