sounds like everyone did what had to be done. We can't speculate on why a bad guy (even MI) does what he does. We just react. You are right about your scrapes and abrasions, just suck it up, cupcake. It will add to your badass rep, and that's a good thing. It's a good thing because it instills confidence in you : everyone will know what a stand-up guy you are, not a weenie or a crybaby.
