I've only eaten there once but don't read anything into that. I just was not overwhelmed with the burger, it was 'good' but not really outstanding enough to go back for a second visit. I guess I should try them again but I'm not a big fan of fast food. There are a lot of mom and pop places to eat with similar pricing and far better food.

If I'm going to a sit down restaurant I'm not going anywhere it's only $14 per person, probably pretty gross food for that price. I stopped at Denny's yesterday got a breakfast with water and extra slice of toast. $16.50.

That’s enough to buy breakfast for two here in Jerkwater, unless you want a couple of $3 cups of coffee.

Never been to Five Guys, was unimpressed with Smashburger and Fuddruckers. Not that we have any of those as options within 100 miles of here. The little local greasy spoon diners make a decent cheeseburger. They’re hard to screw up.

They are getting pretty expensive too and around here a double with fries and drink will run you around $15 now.

I like the burgers, but the price has gotten a little silly for what you get. What I don't like is they wrap them in aluminum foil and smash the bun. Perhaps that's why yours are "gummy". I'll smash my own bun, thanks.

The fries are very good, and they like to write the town in Idaho the potatoes came from on a white board which is creative. I think they offer them both seasoned and unseasoned. The availability of malt vinegar is what really makes the fries for me. And, maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't like my fries too crispy.

Cookout offers a burger nearly as good at half the price. And their fries ain't bad either.

Cheeseburger, small fries and drink was around $18.

So nope. I was done. I only go if I am with people who are desperate to do it.
For less money I can hit a Firehouse and get a fully involved smokehouse Smile

Too many variables out there in different restaurants to judge but...

The franchise I tried sucked . Burger was meh. The fries sucked completely and utterly. Crazy expensive. Glad some of your restaurants don't suck.

I'm could not be convinced to go back. High prices are no accident.

Yup, way too spendy and I felt the need to shower afterwards what with all the overloaded toppings that squished and dripped out from between the buns.

I like 'em. I get the cajun seasoned fries and always ask for extra seasoning on the fries, and get the regular (double) cheeseburger.
