Minnesota Lawmaker Stages 24 Hour Sit-In to Protest Inaction on Gun Control JOSH BILLINSON | APR 25, 2018 | 4:56 PM commenting iconComment Minnesota Minnesota state representative Erin Maye Quade took matters into her own hands on Tuesday to protest inaction on new gun control legislation.
Maye Quade launched a 24 hours sit-in on the floor of the Minnesota House to protest the lack of votes on gun control legislation:
She was joined through her protest by some of her colleagues:
Even one Republican lawmaker joined the protest:
Throughout her protest, Maye Quade shared the stories of victims of gun violence:
Maye Quade called on her colleagues to consider bills to expand to a system of universal background checks and require the reporting of lost or stolen firearms, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported.
If the sit-in doesn’t work, Quade should try a year long hunger strike. And her smirking GDC co-conspiritors should join her. This message has been edited. Last edited by: arfmel,

who would have thought....
It is because they feel disenfranchised by the Trump Administration and that the only Somali Cop was just charged with murder........at least that will be the excuses from the left.
Yep, no one could have seen them forming gangs and engaging in criminal activity.

She is a lawmaker, I wonder how many armed guards protect her workplace and surrounds?

"If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24
Good chance she is doing this to appeal to her like minded constituents, in the hopes that she will continue to be voted in. It is an easy life, living off the public's money.

My daughters used to throw fits and just sit down with their arms crossed under their scowled little faces. This behavior seemed to stop around 5 or so if I remember correctly.
