RIP Mr. Saget

Besides Full House he had a great stand up routine.

Wow, RIP Bob.

Can't say I was a real fan of his work but he made a good career out of it.

Every once in awhile, a celebrity death will shock me or at least catch me off guard. Saget's death is certainly one of them. Man, that's really a shame.

He was apparently down in Florida and had just performed right before his death. He was found in his hotel room. He had very earlier this morning tweeted how great his show went. Frown

I recall a post he’d put on YouTube when Norm McDonald passed last year. Made me respect him all the more.

I was never a fan of Full House nor AFHV and thought Saget was the epitome of wishy-washy comedy for the masses. Later I understood he did what he had to do to appeal to the mainstream and make it big in Hollywood.

There will always be haters who criticize artists like him for selling out, but he laughed all the way to the bank while they're broke.

at 65. Doesn't sound like he offed himself or any foul play. Will have to wait.

Joey already said something. I'm sure the rest of the Full House cast will be saying something.

He was also host of America's Funniest Video for quite a while.

RIP

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." wow
this is a surprise

I remember the first time I heard one of his stand up routines and was blown away by his persona.

I later learned that his stand up routines were always "R" rated but his tv persona was a complete 180.

Bob gets roasted by some of his best friends…should go without saying, but NSFW!

And if you thought Bob was really Danny Tanner, go onto YouTube and track down his Aristocrats stuff. (It is the joke that comedians tell other comedians to make them laugh…by being as disgusting and filthy as possible)

I hate to hear of his passing…Friday nights were almost a religious experience in that my two daughters loved Full House and we all would set and watch it…RIP Bob, you made a lotta people laugh!

That sucks. Like a lot of others I grew up watching him every week on TV. About 15 years ago I got the chance to see his standup and he was fantastic. The crowd was laughing before he even said a word. Just seeing him in real life was oddly hilarious.
