With that video it sound be a great idea to press charges and take that thug for everything he has made and will make in the next 10 year.

I’m on the hockey players side. Nothing worse than getting behind a bunch of drunk idiots who take 8 hours to play 18 holes and won’t let anyone play through. I loved him launching the little dick like a sack of potatoes.

That little guy was told the bigger they are the harder they fall and he fell for it alright.

I do not think the guy that did the butt kicking has anything to worry about. The dark shirt guy that got his butt kicked was the aggressor. It could of turned out much worse for him. He got what he earned.
I hate golf and know don't know anything about etiquette. But it would of been a lot easier to just let things play out and not worry about who goes first.

If I’m wrong, I’m wrong, it’s been many years since I played. That said, it’s my recollection that the rules are that you have to allow faster players to play through. If they’re hitting into you, that’s one thing, but taking 15-23 minutes (whichever it was) at the tee? Nah, tatted Canadian was in the wrong. He also picked that fight and could have waved off at any time, up to, and including the point where he started eating solid shots to the face. Getting thrown nearly into the water hazard could have been enough, but I guess he had enough Molsons in him to ride the roller coaster he bought his ticket for.

Google AI says there’s no entitlement to be allowed to play through, but it’s traditional etiquette. It’s what I was taught to do, this is a good illustration why.

I don’t even play Golf and I agree. 23 minutes? Both of those idiots were completely hammered. You can certainly camp if you want drunk bitches. But you have courtesy and let them play through. They want to play golf, not get wasted and camp at a hole. The drunk idiot got what he deserved. FAFO.

The etiquette when you fall behind or are out of position is to let the group behind play through.
Picking up the pace and staying in contact with the group ahead is the solution.
Getting stuck behind an entitled dickhead is no way to go through life.

Unless you’re waiting for the group ahead to get off the fairway in order to tee off, even 15 min on the tee is too long. 18 holes and that’s 4.5 HOURS just on the tee. I’m done with 18 holes in 4.5 hours.

I'd throw them all in jail for a little while.

What's with all the drunk golfers picking fights with NHl players. A little while back I think a few drunk golfers were acting obnoxious in the club house restaurant giving other customers a hard time and playing grab ass with the waitress.

Paul Bissonette tried to calmly intervene and get the drunks settled down. They decided they wanted to fight him instead. I think he pressed charges against all of them and then later offered to drop the charges if each one of them cared to fight him one on one. Don't know what ever came of it.

Most of us don’t play rough, or haven’t for decades. Others are used to playing rough much of their lives. Then you add a little mass & muscle, the softies don’t stand a chance.

Call the Clubhouse. Have them send out the Ranger to rectify the situation.

Based just on what we can see, I'll side with the big fella. Nothing used to piss me off more than drunk assholes hacking all over the course and holding everyone else up behind them. Not unlike people who drive slow - just pull over and let people get by.

There's always the chance, though, that the big guy and his group were being dicks beforehand and hitting into the others. Once is a "whoops...sorry", but when it continues to happen it is deliberate and one shouldn't be surprised when those you are hitting into become dicks about it.

Either way, everyone there needs to relax a little and just be courteous. The whole thing could have been avoided. But, when you mix alcohol, testosterone, and short tempers, this is what you get.

Don't most clubs post rules that include allowing faster players to play through?
