When the drunk idiot grabbed the club and start holding it like a weapon, I really thought that he was going to receive a curb stomping. His drunken mediator friend saved him a trip to the ER.

I thought the same thing. It was about to get serious since the hockey player was taking it easy on him calling out his Batman punches. There almost seemed like something wrong with the friend. Like dude you’ve been told 100 times to take off and he keeps acting like “what did we do”.

The really bad thing is I bet one of both of these guys drove home.

The guy was really drunk, he was slurring his words, stumbling around, barely able to walk a straight line, it seems. Same with Mr. Tats who went to the wrong golf cart.

Not to mention Taransky wasn't in skates or on ice so he was way more stable than normal.

A few good chirps tossed in there for good measure, that was beauty eh?!

Drunk Golfer Apologizes
The golfer who got tossed into the pond during the slow play altercation has released an apology video.

“Played 36 holes of golf, we drank way too much and my mouth ran faster than my brain.”

I know right. I was thinking of the videos where they freeze frame and say "Thats when I realized I fucked up!"

Not if your slow playing, nobody likes to get behind those people. I ask nicely to go around all the time if they say no I go anyway.

I'll admit watching the little dude get tossed was funny, but I've gotta give him props for continuing to come back for more. I'm sure that has more to do with the booze than any conscious decision making though. That was far more entertaining than most other things I've seen on a golf course...

What a tool - apologizes in a backwards hat spewing one catch phrase after another.

I understand having a beer or two on the course. Been there, done that, especially if the beer cart girl was cute.

With that said... hitting that little white Mad#$%^%$Mad ball with any level of competency is hard enough sober, I can't imagine trying to play golf on a nice course that hammered. I'm surprised the ranger didn't catch them and boot them off way before this happened.

Agree with Todd, this guy is a first class douche bag. That apology just cemented it for the world.

That thing never gets old. He throws him in the pond and his friend says “That’s a good start buddy”. Canadians love saying “buddy”. Whole thing reminds me of Ricky and Julian, drunk, in Trailer Park Boys. Big Grin

When he went for the wrong cart, you knew they were beyond messed up. My mom took me golfing once as a kid. Once. She had to let everybody play through because I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. She never took me again. Without question, they should’ve let them play through.
