I saw this in a news letter. It looks very interesting. I tend to think it would help.

Have any of the readers here seen or used one.

Thanks

If you want to level up in being a mediocre shooter, the Mantis is for you. The company only wishes it could tell you about the super secret military trial, but it can’t. Frown

Buy Steve Anderson’s book.

I asked about it a while back (the link above) and just updated my original post with my current results. As in all things I think you'll find people on both sides of the discussion.

So why it wouldn't be a good addition to a practice routine, especially when you consider in today's climate the significant number of closed range facilities, or for at home practice while you dry fire.

It's not the end all be all, but might help you supplement real fire at the range, has to be better than doing nothing at all...

Not to put words in Jones’ mouth, but this type of thing (laser training devices) tends to have you focusing on the results. In the long run, your results will be better if you focus on the process and let the results take care of themselves.

I bought one and it meaningfully improved my shooting. If you're serious about improving your marksmanship I'd recommend it. Practicing with it definitely improved the process and tightened my groups.

That said, I had a revelatory experience a few weeks ago. I replaced the sights on my P229 with XS Big Dot sights. Immediately, my marksmanship improved! What happened? I could clearly see the front sight!

I'm filled with gratitude for the blessings I've received.

Wasn't advocating it as a sole training device but an addition to real fireing line use and instruction.

I can see where it might help someone struggling to correct a fault with lots of dry fire practice and some feedback via the app on what they are doing and if the changes they made are helping or not...
