If so I have a deal for you. I have the O-Light Maruader which is now discontinued but I have the 10000 lumen version that preceded the last model. Although it is no longer made it is a bright flashlight I take hunting,

Marauder

Through Experticity I noticed that S&W had a similar version on sale and I was about to buy it for $179 before I searched around. I am not positive but it sure looks close to the O-Light so I assume maybe they make it for S&W

S&W

So before I purchased I found it here for $129.99

FIn Fur Feather

I have not received mine yet so I cannot compare but I thought I would pass on the info since i know there are some guys jonesing for a new light.

"Night Terror" would be what would happen to me when my wife found out I paid $130 for a freakin' flashlight

To each their own, though. Enjoy your new toy Smile

The O-Light version works really when when I am searching for a feral hog I shot at night. It lights up a large area. The O-Light is built well, if the batteries ever go bad they can be replaced and being LED the light should last decades. But, you are correct, it is a toy although one that I get plenty of use out of.

Co worker has one of those Marauders. More of a spot/search light if anything. Gets hot quick.

I had to read that twice, thinking it was a typo. He must have meant 1,000 lumens, I thought. The ad actually says 12,000, which should be just enough to illuminate the international space station from say, South Dakota.

I'll spend a lot on a good flashlight, but not a chinese light.

I bought a few olights several years ago, and gave them away. They were not well made; cheap in construction, and very disappointing. If I were going to get a Chinese light, the best ones I've found are the Fenix line. Still Chinese, though.

Olights are no joke. A buddy has the Javelot Pro and we've used it to illuminate things up to 800yds away pretty easily.

That's a great deal, though I've never heard of the brand. I have a 12000 lumen light from Fenix, though.

Buy a pistol and tell her they threw the light in.

Hi, I'm Brad and I have a problem with flashlights, custom knives and watches [obligatory Hi Brad]

Years and years ago when I became a member of our local fire department my ever patient wife told me that since I was the one getting out of bed in the middle of the night when my pager went off that I should spend whatever pay I got on stuff for me. So that fed my um er habit. I just got notice that a custom knife I ordered 3.5 years ago shipped and should be here Monday. It was more lots more than a $130 flashlight Wink But I have more than a couple of those too Big Grin

The website says the flashlight can use 12000 lumens for 2 minutes, then it goes down to 3000 lumens for the duration of the battery.

I have one. Bought it around X-mas at half off. Mainly to see what 12000 lumens looked like. I use it at work and have found its strength pretty useful.

My o-lights have faired better than my streamlights and now most of my guns wear o-light valkyrie.

It would be fun if they made a gun mount for the Marauder.

Good point, they snuck that one in. You'd assume high is the highest setting:

7 MODE FUNCTIONS: LOW, LOW-MEDIUM, MEDIUM-HIGH, HIGH, TURBO 1, TURBO 2 AND STROBE FUNCTIONS

2HR. RUN TIME ON HIGH

34 HRS. RUN TIME ON LOW

BEAM DISTANCE: 352M

I have an Olight Maurader and it is a beast. Will definitely light up the backyard.

While that SW branded one may look similar, I don’t think it is the same. Looks like a proprietary charging cable vs USB-C, deal killer for me trying to keep track of special cables.

No rubberized grip or tripod mounting hole on the Marauder either.

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

I'll get mine later this week and post a comparison to my O-Light and see if I threw $130 down the drain. I'm hoping the batteries are removable since I have a good O-Light charger to charge them out of the light.

$130 would be a bargain in my household. I have lights that cost many times that Eek

My Fenix E30R at 1600 Lumens lights up our 3 acre property just fine and that's all I need. Wifey says cool it with the flashlight habit, so there's that too. Smile

I've got, as well as gifted several of the small, rechargeable O lights. All seem to work fine.

They have some silly cheap sales occasionally.
