What have you seen lately?

A couple for me:

Wife bought the Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies for the kids and I ate one and they were tiny, MAYBE about 2.75 inches in diameter. I remember eating these as a kid and they were big like 4-5 inches in diameter!

DD donut: Haven't been to DD in a while as I got sick of their long drive-through lines and stores not being open for walk-in. Stopped at one for an iced coffee and a blueberry donut and it was shockingly small, it's like a mini-donut now. Maybe 3 inches in diameter at most.

Aldi toilet paper: I buy the big Costco packs but the wife supplements it with Aldi stuff and it's such a joke on the TP holder now. There is easily 2 inches of air on each side.

Granulated sugar: I clearly remember this being a 5 lb bag until a few years ago. Now it's 4 lbs?

I needed a quick chili dog, opened a can of chili I bought recently and was somewhat taken aback by the low level in the can:

]

Approximately 3/4 full when I opened it. Pitiful.

Additionally, the blueberry muffins at the fancy HEB Central Market grocery store nearby have shrunk by seems like about 30% in size over the last month.They still charge $1.99 for them, though.

Toilet paper has been 4x4 inch squares but most have changed to 3.5 x 3.5 inch squares, in addition to less total number of squares on the roll. Costco kept the 4x4 inch square size but went from 425 sheets per roll to 380 sheets per roll.

And if it gets any thinner, it will only have 1 side !!!

Bought a 12 pack of the mini Coke can for my Jack and Coke’s.

Got it home and it was only a 10 pack.

Could have sworn it used to be a 12 pack.

I thought 500 round cases and 1000 round cases have been around forever? They're probably selling more 500 round cases now because there's not as much sticker shock.

The other day while waiting on the damn supply chain, I was cutting bully-bars in half on the bandsaw. The dogs were seeing real shrinkflation!

I don’t think they really noticed. Wink

I told them it was “the fun size”.
