Guys - Just an FYI (hoping this is not an issue for others here who have ordered) I am not sure if any of you that have ordered this knife have successfully received your shipment but I ordered my knife on the 20th and this company provided a “tracking number” on the 21st (7 days ago). The tracking number provided is not a valid tracking number and when I spoke with their customer service yesterday about this they said I had to call back today. When I called back today I was told this item is out of stock and I can call after August 14th to request a refund or select another item from their store if I have not received my knife. Not sure the deal but this was my first order with this company and it will be my last…. Sad because I was about to order two cases of 9mm ammo from them….Not gonna happen now…..

^^^^ That's too bad. The sale by the way is over. Looks like they sold out of them. I held out but at the last minute finally grabbed one up. I placed my order on July 23rd. It says it is out for delivery today, so it appears I was one of the lucky ones. If you ordered on the 20th, sounds like you got screwed. ~Alan Acta Non Verba NRA Life Member (Patron) God, Family, Guns, Country Men will fight and die to protect women... because women protect everything else. ~Andrew Klavan

Sounds like an issue with the shipping company not Bereli. Bereli said they will make it right, they just realize shipping companies screw up quite often and want to wait a few days to see if the knife shows before making a final fix which is understandable. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. I got my two 4-5 days after order. Good communications on updates and well packaged. Sorry you had trouble getting your package. 10 years to retirement! Just waiting!

Got mine quickly, too, but they've been since email spamming bloody hell out of me.

I ordered one on the 21st, checked on the USPS tracking number provided last night and it said it still hadn't shipped. It arrived in the mail this morning.

Same exact situation for me now (revised/corrected number replaced old invalid tracking number) - my new tracking number now shows it is assigned to a package that has not left their facility but was assigned on July 21st. Black92LX’s point on my focus being that this issue is this companies fault could very well be my mistake. Thanks Black92LX for making that point. I am going to sit tight for another week to see if it shows up (fingers crossed because I really want this knife). Sorry for my possible mis-statements about this company. I guess I just need to chill out and give this package a little more time to make its way to me…..

If the shipper is USPS that explains everything. I don’t even know why they have a tracking system available to see. They are always jacked up. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I will be your brother, and I'll hold your hand. I ordered on the 20th (Thursday), was shipped on the 21st (Friday), and was delivered on the 25th (Tuesday). I’ve ordered ammo from Bereli numerous times and have never had an issue. I think they’re good to go.

That was a pretty good price given current times. For myself it's not one of my favorite Kershaw blades; the much larger and textured Blur will forever be my go-to. To me #1660 is too damn slippery in my hands; any of the colored anodized Leeks is better in slip resistance, if only slightly. But 1660 has always been among our shop's best selling knives. -MG

That's like comparing a 5" 1911 to a Walther PPK. The Leek is a gentleman's knife. The point is sharp like a scalpel but also delicate. It's meant to open letters, packages, cut string & tape. You can wear it on a tuxedo, and it won't look out of place. The Blur (1670) is a work knife; that's why it has rough textured grip panel inserts. It's not a bush or backcountry knife, but it's all around bigger, heavier, & sturdier than the Leek.

Perhaps. But most if not all of our Leek customers buy the knife to use it as a daily carry working knife. Pretty sure most of those fellas don't even know how to rent a tux, let alone own one. Biggest customer complaint? It like the similar but even smaller Chive are so dainty that their owners lose it almost each and every time they buy one. Because of this, we do get a LOT of repeat Leek customers. It's like money in the bank, the Leek is. At least until I upsell them to a Blur. -MG

I got mine yesterday, the 28th, tracking number was legit, came via usps. Ordered it on the 23rd, and was able to see delivery estimate. Sorry you weren’t able to get yours, hope Bereli takes care of it for you. I love this leek, by the way, will be an awesome edc.

This is a precision, well made knife/tool. Earlier comments ring true. Little bit heavier than the Rat II, lot less bulky, therefore harder to grip and maneuver than the Rat II. The blade is wicked. One-handing is tricky, but probably could get used to it. Closing with one hand requires more force and is difficult and a tad dangerous, stuck myself three times already. I'll use a fine grit hone and see how sharp I can get it. Regardless, money well spent. I did manage to get the clip off the Rat II, but will leave the Leek alone. I don't plan to buy the tool to disassemble it.
