I look forward to a Idaho cattle rancher having bull balls and heifer udder pictures/items on the back of his trucks.

Arresting officer -- You can't dangle those testicle and boobie things off the back of your truck.

Rancher -- Hey dipshit, these are bovine balls and udders. I'm advertising my business. They're part of my logo. See you in court, asshole.

Nah, I don't agree. They're tacky as shit, and I would probably go so far as to downgrade a friendship I had with the owner of a pair on accounting of their terrible taste.

That said, this is overreach of the worst kind and I can't support it. This law is terrible, and I hope it gets struck down in a hurry.

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

Good.
Make this law of the land.

We need to move to felony charges against people with obscene tattoos.

With AI and brain implants, dirty thoughts can't hide forever.

Let's do this!

Why didn’t the chief of surgery pull his privileges?

Why didn’t the board fire him?

Why didn’t an anonymous tip get sent to the state medical board and the newspaper and TV?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
It appears this happened years ago when docs could pretty much do what they want. These days a well written complaint to the medical board would result is some action.{You cannot make anonymous tips to the medical board for obvious reasons}.

Senate Minority Leader Melissa Wintrow, D-Boise, opposed the bill and argued it crosses constitutional lines.

She said the law criminalizes expression simply because “we don’t like” it.

“They’re gross, they’re offensive, and kids on the road see them,” Wintrow said, referring to faux scrotums often hung on truck hitches, commonly called truck nuts.

BUT ... shouldn't be criminal.

C'mon, guys! It's OK for Republicans to limit offensive speech?
I don't think so.

The legislation updates Idaho’s indecent exposure law, which already prohibited showing genitals in public.

That's enough. A hunk of metal hanging from a tow hitch, no matter how its shaped, is not a scrotum.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Our break room had windows overlooking the parking lot and I saw him pull in one day and realized who's truck it was. Once he was in the OR, I went out and removed said truck nuts from his vehicle. Thankfully, he never found out who did it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at the time they were not illegal. And just because you didn't like them you thought it was okay to vandalize/steel someone else's property?

I understand you can find plenty of detached testicles at your local (D) staff offices and/or the DNC. Why settle for fake ones when you can hang the real thing?

The first time I saw truck-nuts I laughed.

I am low-class. My Wife and I both accept that (for almost 55 years).

I could try and explain it as due to my years in the Service, but it is actually because of how I was raised. "Is it actually hurting anyone?" No. "Then ignore it."

Wow. Idaho really has been taken over by leftist weaklings, hasn't it?

Those in favor... eye-opening.

IMO, this falls into this category:

quote:

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Shame on those supporting this crap.

^^^^^^ There is a work dually here west of Orlando that has a pair of industrial nuts hung from under the hitch. They are each about 4" across, and he has them hung on lengths of 3/8ths or so chain.

Will it be a class D felony?

Shitty journalism. Misdemeanor mentioned 4 times in the article. Felony mentioned in article title and last sentence. Here's the last sentence:
"If they’re caught a second time within five years, they can face a felony charge."

Wow, what a wonderful place to live, idaho.

Where the biggest problems the state legislature faces is legislating against fake testacles hanging from someone’s truck……

It’s tacky but not vulgar to people who spend any time around livestock or even pets. Shocker here but males have nut sacks dangling back there for all the world to see. I’d imagine some rancher would be proud of the size of some of them.

I have to admit the same. I thought it was tacky, and not something I would tolerate on any of our vehicles, but I did see the humor.

I didn't have to see many on the road though to realize that the folks who would put one on their car are folks that one would happily avoid.
