We pick up these two next week after their surgery.

Female and Male, currently set to be named Sprinkles (f) and Butters (m) by the kids.

Now the only tough part is teaching Jelly they aren’t to be herded.

Awww. I raised a feral kitten named Butters. He got homed w/two of his siblings but his new parent changed his name.

Can cats be herded?

There is no try.

It's the other way around. Cats herd their owners.

I put my money on this one.

I’m a ginger, so I’ve got a soft spot for ginger animals as well. Very excited.

On a little side note, I hate going to the humane society. Lots of cats in this area to be adopted. 3 rooms of cats alone. Everyone was mostly there to see the dogs. I left feeling bad for one in particular. Feral female who looked absolutely terrified.

Otto, don't do that to me.
I just lost my former feral Momma Kiki, a stray/feral queen.
The moms need loving too. And she was such a good kitty.

I'm just not in a good position to take another on at this time. Same thing I was thinking when reading Para's post.
It really tore up.

Good on both you guys.

I've been putting off posting about her trip across the rainbow bridge.

Sorry Dsiets,

I’m sure the near entirety of this forum loves or at least has a heart for animals.

We can’t all do it all the time, but the vast majority of us have helped way more animals than we’ve hurt.

Sorry to hear about your cat passing. I don’t often respond to the rainbow bridge posts because they kind of suck to hear to put it bluntly. My girl Jelly is only 4.5 years old but every post reminds me of their lifespan compared to ours.

I’m not the best at communicating feelings but it’s my hope that with time you’ll be in a place to give another cat or two a wonderful home.

Nice work J. Daughter looks happy. Jelly looks ready for them.

Boss keeping #3?

Sorry for your loss Dsiets, it is rough.

Thank You, Otto.
Looking forward to Jelly and kitty pics. Smile

TY, ORC

I'm just surprised that the other kitty wasn't Peanut.
Peanut, Butters, and Jelly? Or I missed something.

We had a little poodle mix named peanut that didn’t make it. My wife thought about the name but nixed it.

Yeah, I think a number one name for small dogs is Peanut. I can understand that.
I'll never have another Winston (Boston Terrier).
