If you have been paying attention this makes perfect sense. Since the beginning this has been another tax payer fraud scheme to bilk the American people out of billions to enrich many in our government and their puppeteers and those in europe as well. A travesty. Not too mention a massive loss of human life for the purpose of lining pockets. Its disgusting beyond comprehension. This message has been edited. Last edited by: old rugged cross,

Zelenskyy's Former Right-Hand Man Yermak Arrested In $10.5 Million Money Laundering Scheme
Ukraine’s High Anti-Corruption Court ordered the pre-trial detention of Andriy Yermak, the powerful former head of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Office and once the country’s second-most influential figure, on money-laundering charges tied to a high-profile corruption scheme.
The ruling marks a dramatic fall for Yermak, who served as Zelenskyy’s closest aide from 2020 until his resignation in late 2025 amid earlier raids. He was taken into custody directly from the courtroom following the decision.
Charges and Allegations
Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) named Yermak a suspect on May 11 in a scheme involving the laundering of approximately 460 million hryvnias (about $10.5 million or €9-10 million).
Prosecutors allege he participated in an organized criminal group that funneled illicit funds - originating from kickbacks at the state nuclear energy company Energoatom-through shell companies and fake contracts into the construction of a luxury residential complex (known as “Dynasty”) in the affluent village of Kozyn, south of Kyiv.
The broader “Midas” investigation into Energoatom reportedly uncovered a pattern where contractors paid 10-15% kickbacks to officials to secure or maintain deals. Funds were allegedly laundered between 2021 and 2025 via elite real estate development.
Yermak faces charges under Part 3 of Article 209 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code (legalization of criminally obtained proceeds). A conviction could carry up to 12 years in prison.
After multi-day hearings, the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) imposed 60 days of pre-trial detention starting May 14, with an alternative of bail set at 140 million hryvnias (roughly $3.2 million). Prosecutors had requested a higher bail of 180 million hryvnias (about $4 million).
Yermak was remanded in custody immediately, though he could secure release if the full bail is posted while the case proceeds. His legal team plans to appeal the ruling.

The Ukrainians are still losing vast amounts of territory and infantry and equipment losses are at record highs too. Trump already declared them the losers of this conflict but as long as the EU wants to launder money they will keep Zelensky afloat.
At Least 4 People Killed in One of the Largest Ukrainian Drone Strikes on Russia
One of Ukraine's largest drone strikes on Russia killed at least four people, including three near Moscow, and wounded a dozen others, local authorities said Sunday. Debris fell on Russia's largest airport without causing damage. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the drone strikes, saying that they were “entirely justified.” Russia has repeatedly launched similar attacks on Ukraine's capital and other cities during the war, and an expert said that the strikes appeared to be retaliation for recent Russian attacks on Kyiv.
In Ukraine's strikes on Russia, a woman was killed after a drone hit her home in Khimki, a Russian city just northwest of Moscow, and two men died in the village of Pogorelki, which is 10 kilometers (6 miles) north of the capital, according to local Gov. Andrei Vorobyev.
Ukrainian drones had also damaged unspecified “infrastructure” and several high-rise buildings, Vorobyev said on social media.
One man was also killed after a drone struck a truck in the Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine, according to local authorities.
In Moscow itself, at least 12 people were wounded in the nighttime strike, mostly near the entrance to the city’s oil refinery, mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported. Sobyanin reported that the “technology” of the refinery hadn't been damaged.
Russia’s largest airport — Moscow’s Sheremetyevo — said that drone debris had fallen on its grounds without causing damage or affecting flights.
Russian defenses shot down 81 drones headed for Moscow overnight, state agency Tass reported, citing Sobyanin, marking one of the largest attacks on the city since Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022.
Russian air defenses destroyed 556 drones over Russia overnight, the country’s defense ministry said Sunday morning. Shortly after midday local time, it reported that more than 1,000 drones had been shot down or jammed in the previous 24 hours.

Ukraine hammering Moscow with drone attacks today. They hit an oil refinery and the smoke is thick enough it looks like every citizen would know the war has been brought to them.

Hegseth Orders Review Of US Force Posture In Europe, Warns NATO Laggards Of Consequences
Authored by Tom Ozimek via The Epoch Times,
U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on June 18 announced a six-month review of U.S. force posture and basing in Europe, warning that NATO allies failing to meet defense spending commitments could face consequences as Washington pushes the alliance toward what he called a new era of burden-sharing.
Speaking at a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels, Hegseth said the review would examine America’s military footprint in Europe and help ensure that European allies assume primary responsibility for the continent’s conventional defense.
“I’m announcing today a six-month Department of War review that will examine America’s force posture and basing in Europe,” Hegseth said.
The review comes as the Trump administration is pushing NATO members to increase defense spending and take over capabilities long provided by the United States.
Earlier this month, NATO officials disclosed that the United States would no longer assign certain capabilities—including an aircraft carrier strike group, support ships, aerial refueling aircraft, and dozens of combat aircraft—to NATO crisis-response plans.
The Trump administration has said that the United States must preserve greater military flexibility as it prepares for the possibility of simultaneous conflicts, particularly in the Indo-Pacific region.
Hegseth described the U.S. force posture review as part of a broader transformation of the alliance into “NATO 3.0,” a return to what he characterized as NATO’s original mission as a hard-edged military alliance focused on deterrence and warfighting.
“It will be designed to ensure that NATO is moving fast and irreversibly toward Europe leading, stepping up to take primary responsibility for the defense of Europe, stepping up to ensure our forces are postured for America’s global needs,” Hegseth said.
Although Hegseth did not question the U.S. commitment to NATO’s Article 5 collective defense clause, he indicated that allies failing to meet spending targets could see reductions in U.S. contributions.
“Going forward, our annual NATO dues will be contingent on other countries meeting their defense spending targets,” he said. ”Where other allies do not spend with urgency, our dues contributions will go down. ... It’s a review that some countries will fail and others will pass with flying colors.”
Specifically pointing toward Canada and Prime Minister Mark Carney, Secretary Hegseth noted some are not fulfilling their obligations while simultaneously talking about “middle powers” assembling. WATCH:

“This is the moment a disabled Russian veteran pulls a knife on an army recruiter as the Kremlin prepares for a forced mass mobilisation to replenish its depleted forces in Ukraine.
Footage captured the double-amputee brandishing a knife at the officer as he shouts: 'You are taking kids from their mother! Go f*** yourself'.
It comes as Russian president Vladimir Putin's draft officers have already begun rounding up men in the city of Penza, about 350 miles from Moscow, according to reports from encrypted-messaging platform Telegram.
Residents have said recruiters accompanied by balaclava-clad men swept through the city to round up civilians. Unconfirmed reports suggest they were ordered to draft hundreds of daily recruits.
The Russian anti-war network Idite Lesom (Get Lost in English) spoke with locals who recounted these targeted raids.
One said: 'They're rounding everyone up, stopping cars and public transport, grabbing men and taking them away to sign [military] contracts. Raids are happening all over the city.'
Another added: 'Everyone is calling each other, warning them not to let their men go outside. A cashier at a shopping centre yelled at some guy who works there to stay inside and not go outside to smoke because [draft officers] were watching. Panic has set in.' …”
