Up in that area it's mostly black bears looking for food and coming out from the preservation areas. Quite a few sightings happen, best to keep garbage cans inside a garage, don't leave any thing in the cars they may want. Oh and watch out for your Christmas Reindeer decorations, they are not safe! Depending on your layout...I would almost want a fenced enclosure at your entrances. They do that up north so a bear don't surpise you coming out. It won't stop them...just give you time to get back inside. I'd almost want to stick an arm out the door and let loose with an air horn before leaving. But your neighbors will probably hate you. | |||
