I’m preparing to eat my hat. And I’ll gladly do it. I know I’m not alone when I say I have never seen government and all that orbits it make so much progress in so little time. How will it bear out? I could speculate based on history, but there’s more at play here. There seems to be a supernatural hand guiding policy, strategy and influence of foreign actors. I don’t think even the world’s bad actors know what’s happening nor how to stop it. Could Trump fly too close to the sun? If it were anyone else, I’d say he most certainly will. But Trump has a guiding light and boundless energy. So my hat is waiting to see its fate but it’s looking more and more like a meal.

Quite surprisingly the opposite of “Nothing ever happens.” The ability to publish governmental excesses and frivolities, and the resulting termination straight to twitter bypassing the msm, is good stuff. No normal people are supporting the lefts government monster. I take back three quarters of the bad things I have said about Musk.

Counter-revolution. The actual revolution was a long, slow-simmering insurgency that brought Obama (and later, Biden) to power. What you're witnessing is the counter-revolution.

What Dennis Learned From All Those Hours Reading History: The counter-revolution is almost always bloodier than the revolution (figuratively, in this case).

The perp walks is what I'm waiting for. Maybe while they are in session, right off the floor.
We need to clean up the House and Senate then move on to Stacy Abrams and that crowd.

Anybody know when else in history a corrupt government, actively destroying a country, were removed and the new government restored the country? Especially by election? What this president did between terms and after having a win stolen is beyond ridiculous.

The dims are lost and floundering. It appears that "revenge is success" was BS, and I'm glad.

It is also a good time to remember how many disgruntled voters who said they were done voting after the 2020 election was stolen. I'm glad they either gave voting another shot or they didn't matter.

Abrams is just an idiot. I want to see Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Smith, Willis as well as some others sitting at the defendants table in a federal courtroom. Clinton would be icing on the cake.

For a gun forum, ergo fundamentally Constitutional, I am in still in disbelief at the ideology of those members who are so vocally on the wrong side. I've been here for a good deal of time, with limited posts, but over the decades the loudest voices all seem to crash and burn.

We didn't believe you in the invasion of Iraq.

We didn't believe your hand ringing on Sandy Hook.

We didn't believe you on the Clinton Foundation with Haiti.

We didn't believe you on 45 Trump and Russia.

We didn't believe you on Covid

We didn't believe you on transgenderism.

We didn't believe you that education only comes from government, that home education is a true option

We didn't believe you that Ukraine is the modern Crusade on the Holy City of Jerusalem

We didn't believe you when you said abortion was a fundamental human right

The list is long, but enough is enough, and this is what the majority (not that the majority matters in a Republic) voted for. Hold the line. Look into our owm hearts and souls and be strong and courageous. Know there is only one truth, one natural law and one divine law

Enough is enough, we have humans have not evolved since the Sumarians. Doom and gloom included. Still we are here. Still, we are striving to do better, still we have truly made the world a better place.

A great start, but I’m getting concerned from reports of all the backsliding rulings from judge shopping that don’t seem to be either ignored or immediately shut down by SCOTUS. That has the potential to derail the Trump train.

I’m not worried. They have already moved to impeach 2 activist judges. Other activist judges might actually do what’s right for fear of them also being impeached.

Tens of millions? Tell me you meant to type thousands. Thousands have already been issued.

I would like to believe we can vote our way out of this. It looks like a damn good start based on my values. Getting rid of DEI programs, drag shows for children, forced jabs to keep your job, kicking illegal aliens out of the country, putting a stop to men being able to compete against women in sports are great.

For me, "out of this" also means not having digital currency shoved down my throat. Not having my life savings cut in half by the hidden tax called inflation. Not having corporations own every F#$%### thing. "out of this" means bringing back affordable home prices and putting a stop to the "You'll own nothing and be happy" and you'll rent/lease/subscribe to everything bulls$it. "out of this" also means not giving big tech the ability to know every place I go and everything I do and say. "out of this" means bringing back local businesses and local food production and manufacturing across the U.S.

In my lifetime, I don't remember a time when one political party stayed in power for more than a couple of election cycles. I hope things continue to move quickly because there could be hell to pay once the DemoRats/Rhinos come back into power. We still have a loooong way to go.

Yeah, but I appreciate the sentiment...
We still have too much government. It'll take some time, but we need to cut more.

Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary gives his take on DOGE's cuts

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Eh, so I didn't look up the size of DC - but, honestly, once you factor in all of the BS ancillary "companies" which service it, I'm not so sure that it isn't in the tens of millions.

I'm pretty certain 90% of DC could be fired, outside of the military.

I realize the need for a manual process in combat - at least, the theory of it - but I'm also certain that 90% of the bureacracy in the military could also be done away with.

I KNOW reworking purchasing in the military could slash costs.

(Manufacturing is still manufacturing. If you want me to make 1 gallon of a custom ice cream, its not that much less than having me make 120 gallons of one, and not much more to go ahead an have me make 1,000 gallons of it.)
