In my opinion we can only vote our way out of our decline and oppression if we recognize, learn, assimilate and teach true principals to our young starting tomorrow. Absent that, past is prologue.

I think a good chunk of the American population have been asking themselves this same question for a while now. Wcb6092's Brownstone article is excellent, I'm going to pass that around. It delivers what I feel is a pretty good analysis of the whole thing.
We've taken our first and best opportunity to vote for meaningful change since Covid. They took from us the soap box, and where they could, they took from us the jury box or otherwise sought to use it against us. That leaves two boxes, and there being a natural and correct order to their application, we stormed the ballot box to give them not only Donald Trump again, but to send with him a team to help ensure his success.
This election was the litmus test, the answering of that question. If enough people are paying attention to what's going on, and if enough people care, the answer is still "Yes."

Yep. Well pleased with the vote and more reason to ignore the polsters.
Some people were okay with trying the woke agenda in order to fit in to a vocal MINORITY of the US. Then as the policies and insanity affected them they decided enough was enough.
THe silent MAJORITY came out in droves.

I think of “dynasty” like I think of skin color. I just don’t care. I want character and competence. If the best candidate is from a dynasty, bring them. If the “dynasty” candidate is a pathetic wreck just running on their name, don’t bother.

The election is over. Our honeymoon with fantasy is over. Now that Trump no longer needs our votes he will do what most other Republican POTUS before him have done, he will go in the full RINO mode. No time for supporting the Constitution now, it's time for WAR, WAR, WAR!.

Haha… no. Trump will support Israel and MAYBE allow delivery of old weapon stocks to Ukraine to help further degrade Russian plans of supremacy (the democrat money laundering operation is over) but he will not be following in 20 year old rino mentalities; democrats are the new war hawks. I have no doubt that his focus as a businessman will be on the economic recovery for everyday Americans.

What I particularly like about this victory is that we have both the Senate and House. Even with a small majority in the House, it means the republicans control the agenda. For at least two years, no more wasted time on bringing articles of impeachment, etc., up for a vote, so we can focus more on important things. and getting them done.

That depends if your perception is based on rhetoric or actions. I like most of Trump's rhetoric, but I draw a distinction between rhetoric and actions.
