Who are you? Seriously long term people on the forum are noticed if they are absent and inquiring folks look in on them.

Is there an adventure on your horizon? Going underway? Harms way? Getting away to find yourself, don't be so cryptic, what's up?

I am sure that someone here will miss you. But if you don't post very often, there is nothing to miss (we don't see people who just lurk).

Whatever your reason for being absent, I pray it goes well.

For many of us that would be much more entertaining than an undercover mission with Chuck Norris!!
Might even be more dangerous!

All is well.
But I should explain. I have to give up something in my day-to-day life so I can better spend time to aid my Mother who is 97 next month. So shooting and net surfing will have to take a back seat. I also will trim back my time as XO of my local club. XO work is hard to stop as the other volunteers are few.

I may be able to drop in once in a while.

I completely understand what you are facing as my mother is also 97 and lost my father back on May 28. She hasn't been the same since.

Care giving for the elderly is a major undertaking and challenge. I wish you all the best and you are in my prayers.

FWIW not net surfing per se but dropping in here has provided a welcome relief from all that I've been dealing with. Consider doing likewise when you need a quick distraction from all that you'll be dealing with. The family here is outstanding!

We surely do have some great people on this forum, that's a certainty. I join all the others in wishing you well with your new and demanding task.

A couple of years back, one of our club members had to give up shooting so that he could care for his parents.

He was 76 years old, and they were both 97.
