It doesn’t work that way in America. We are not ruled by unelected bureaucrats, police forces, or intelligence agencies. In America, We The People ELECT officials who govern.

You know, having all these Clinton guys on the inside of the FBI/Mueller team is really very little different than having made men in the FBI working on the Mob investigations, back when they did that stuff, like Joe Pistone types even.

Excellent analogy.

Two Republican senators are asking the Department of Justice to open a criminal investigation into Christopher Steele, the author of a controversial opposition research dossier on President Trump.

Sens. Chuck Grassley (Iowa) and Lindsey Graham (S.C.) sent a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray asking that they investigate if the former British intelligence agent lied to federal authorities.

The letter is the first known criminal referral from any of the congressional investigations into Russia's election interference.

As part of their request, the two senators passed along a memo tied to "certain communications between Christopher Steele and multiple U.S. news outlets." They did not publicly release the memorandum, which is classified.

The Justice Department isn't required to open up an investigation in response to Grassley and Graham's letter.

My wife read the book about Whitey Bulger. You should ask the Boston police what they thought about their interactions with the FBI on that case. Eek

May not be true. I'm without words.

I don't suppose he's willing to highlight the stuff he made up. Oh wait, it might be easier to just highlight the stuff that he knows to be true.

I watched an interview with him today and he said 100% of Trump's inner circle think he's mentally unstable.

Yeah right.
That statement alone disqualifies anything he writes about being the truth.

100% huh.

Even just a decade ago, there was still something like journalistic standards. A writer named James Frey, for instance, published a memoir A Million Little Pieces. It was a big hit, and then it was revealed that he just made up large portions-- and he was disgraced. Oprah, who had chosen his book for her book club, denounced him. And this was a memoir, which of course is supposed to be factual, but with looser standards, since memory can be faulty, and so on.

Wolff is supposed to be a journalist writing a book that is based on research.. And he just makes shit up! And the liberal press and internet goes wild about the -- fucking MADE UP-- book!

I tell you, it's getting hard to be shocked about anything anymore.

Every day, I'm so happy Trump is President, it's uncanny. I'm not a fan, I wasn't a fan. But dear sweet buttery Christ I wasn't going to vote for Her Turn.

I think, even when something happens that I don't quite agree with, what would be happening under Comrade Clinton?

There are so many ironies, I'm overwhelmed. Just one, is how Trump is abusing his power and connections for his own personal gain..... Um, what have the Clintons been doing for decades? It's not OK now?....

I can't fully express how much I hate Hillary Clinton. I'm so, so happy she's done with politics, and I can't wait for the shit show of when they try to prop up Chelsea.

Arc.

Why do I get the impression that Pocahontas is always on amphetamines?

So, they don't like that corporations will benefit from the new tax law. Pocahontas would rather the $ be used to forgive student loan debt - so in a sense the Govt should extort $ from me (via the tax code) to relieve someone else of a financial obligation they freely took on.

Weird Al is gone so they will have to dub-in another Dem to re-use the video.

The book is flying off the shelves. I was at Barnes and noble today for about an hour, during that time the two employees I was dealing with had to answer the sames question over and over. "No we don't have any copies, they sold out moments after the store opened." It was insane how many people wanted it, about 30 inquires in under a hour, and I wasn't with them the whole time.

They will forget the writers note after page 20 and believe everything in it word for word.

It's fun to go back to the old "Ass Clown" thread and see how many of us were not fans, but ended up voting for the guy, and being very happy about it after starting out thinking he was, well, just an Ass Clown.

After the primaries there were some never-Trumpers who converted, and never looked back.

FBI FOIA officer David Hardy told Judicial Watch, in a sworn declaration, that Comey's memos regarding President Trump were classified when written, and remain classified today.

God Bless Judicial Watch! All of this debacle is due to their relentless FOIA-based pursuit of documents the swamp/deep state tried to hide, but couldn't, the corruption being too widespread.

One of the most entertaining "excerpts" circulated from Michael Wolff's explosive tell-all was a passage describing President Trump supposedly watching a “gorilla channel” for hours on end.

The excerpt, of course, was a parody and wasn't actually from the “Fire and Fury” book.

But it managed to fool plenty of Trump critics anyway, with an MSNBC contributor and others initially appearing to treat the passage as legit.

The “Fire and Fury” fake-out clearly exploited an environment where journalists were hastily tweeting excerpts as they devoured the salacious book filled with alleged anecdotes of aides trashing the president and Trump himself munching through cheeseburgers in his bedroom while glued to multiple TVs.

Amid the firestorm, Twitter user @pixelatedboat sent out the spoof excerpt Thursday.

The wild tale involves White House staff appeasing Trump’s demands for a “gorilla channel” by compiling footage of the combative apes, only for them to have to edit it further as Trump complained that they weren't fighting enough.

The story finished with a Wolff-style quote from an “insider."

“‘On some days he’ll watch the gorilla channel for 17 hours straight,’ an insider told me. ‘He kneels in front of the TV, with his face about four inches from the screen, and says encouraging things to the gorillas, like ‘the way you hit that other gorilla was good.’ I think he thinks the gorillas can hear him.’”

Yet the tall tale was picked up by some credulous Trump trashers. MSNBC contributor Scott Dworkin circulated the ancedote, mocking Trump. He later deleted it, but it was preserved here. He later said he wasn't fooled at all.

Eric Garland, who came up with the now infamous phrase, “Guys it’s time for some game theory” admitted that he got “totally punked” by the tweet.

Story continues with photos and tweets at Link

I want a wall, strict limits on who can immigrate, how many and from where with an emphasis on bringing in people who have values common to ours and high IQs and I want a bug beautiful wall. No amnesty or citizenship for DACA. Send the illegals back where they came from.

Thank you President Trump.
