"...several retired American military scientists were hired..." to help develop their electromagnetic catapult? WTF?

China didn’t develop shit. None of their ‘developers’ didn’t develop anything - it was all stolen technology.

It not a stretch to figure out why they have so many problems - and why they’re incapable of fixing them.

Funny thing about military and industrial espionage is that you never really know if what your getting is the real thing or something that has been subtly altered to fail

China will hopefully never know

Kick all their ‘students’ out of this country. That would be a start

I’m not sure which parts of the article to believe and how much. On one hand, I can see this as a U.S. psyops to make China overconfident in its progress. On the other hand, the kind of U.S. strategists that would think of such a psyops doesn’t match with the ability of the current U.S. government, maybe a couple of decades ago.

I’m hung up on the glaring misunderstanding of what causes cavitation. Cavitation doesn’t result from high pressure. Cavitation results from over spinning the propeller which produces low pressure in front of the propeller. It’s the gas formula P1V1 = P2V2. When pressure decreases, volume automatically increases to keep the equivalence. Volume increasing means bubbles form and then collapse which is cavitation.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

the biggest fear with China is they have no fear at all of throwing people (solders or sailers or pilots) away.... they've got too many people and they are all expendable for the cause.

My father and his fellow marines learned this right at 73 years ago. Chosin reservoir ....Nov/Dec. 1950 we lost 1000 marines and China lost 52,000.... but they took that crap ass piece of land after 10 days and still to this day celebrate it. That is what scares the ever-loving heck out of me.

yes.

I was trying to think of a gun analogy

This is like a highly skilled police officer w a high capacity 9mm pistol

The BGs are 5 gangbangers. Each w a 5 round snubby 38.

In close order fighting and the BGs will fight and not run

They stole the technology to make a copy of something they don’t understand

Stealing a Mercedes doesn’t make you an automotive engineer or a mechanic.

This is very true. It just makes you a basic hood rat thief.
