Woodworkers - looking for a tool
Surfing YouTube shorts (a person could get lost for hours...) and saw a rig you mounted an oscillating saw in to make vertical plunge cuts. Similar to a plunge cut for a router.

There have been a number of situations where such a thing would have been handier than a pocket on a shirt.

I've tried everything I can think of for a search phrase and can't find anything.

Suggestions?

Is this what you're looking for? the Festool plunge base.

The Festool plunge base works great, but only with their oscillating tool or the similar Fein.

That's it! I tried every combination of "plunge xxx" I could think of but never tried "base".

Now to see if anybody but Fe$$tool makes one...

Here's a guy who makes one for the Dewalt Oscillating tool.

I don't see a lot of choices.
