PHPaulWoodworkers - looking for a tool
Surfing YouTube shorts (a person could get lost for hours...) and saw a rig you mounted an oscillating saw in to make vertical plunge cuts. Similar to a plunge cut for a router.
There have been a number of situations where such a thing would have been handier than a pocket on a shirt.
I've tried everything I can think of for a search phrase and can't find anything.
Suggestions?

sjtillThe Festool plunge base works great, but only with their oscillating tool or the similar Fein.

That's it! I tried every combination of "plunge xxx" I could think of but never tried "base".
Now to see if anybody but Fe$$tool makes one...
