Surfing YouTube shorts (a person could get lost for hours...) and saw a rig you mounted an oscillating saw in to make vertical plunge cuts. Similar to a plunge cut for a router. There have been a number of situations where such a thing would have been handier than a pocket on a shirt. I've tried everything I can think of for a search phrase and can't find anything. Suggestions? Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

The Festool plunge base works great, but only with their oscillating tool or the similar Fein. _________________________ “ What all the wise men promised has not happened, and what all the damned fools said would happen has come to pass.”— Lord Melbourne

That's it! I tried every combination of "plunge xxx" I could think of but never tried "base". Now to see if anybody but Fe$$tool makes one... Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Here's a guy who makes one for the Dewalt Oscillating tool. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1...ulti-tool-plunge-cut I don't see a lot of choices.
