My CHP (that's what it's called in VA) stays in my wallet right behind my DL. It's a plastic card the size of a credit card. It's required if you are carrying. "Even if the world were perfect it wouldn't be." ... Yogi Berra

HA! What they did was give us a little lamination sleeve that is way too small. They said we can trim the permit down as long as we don't cut any text, but even then it won't fit the sleeve. I take mine to Staples for a few dollars after I trim mine down so it fits my wallet card slot.

Carry LEOSA paperwork as well as SC cc permit. Required by both.

Still not getting it. Is there some sort of ZZ Top “rule”? And yes, I’m familiar with the group; I even had a few of my high school friends visit a certain establishment that was mentioned in one of their numbers.

I believe UT is now constitutional carry but I always have my permit on me.

PA is a “Shall issue” state and I do carry my LTCF photo-id card / permit. I find it a little troubling that I need to pay for and obtain a government issued permit for a God given right ‘that shall not be infringed’ (but that’s a whole nuther discussion). __________ "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy."

Michigan requires you to have your driver's license (or state ID) and your concealed pistol license with you whenever you are carrying.

I'm in Texas, so no permit is required to carry. I do have a LTC but it has now expired and I've not taken the steps to renew it. The only advantage it gives is when purchasing a gun (no NICS) and I've got all the guns I want If something does come along, I'm willing to NICS it--I'm clean. flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth

Not required but I've had a lifetime carry permit since Indiana 1st offered them about 20 years ago. I also carry my C&R license because you never know when a bargain will show up. ________________________ God spelled backwards is dog

Missouri does not require a permit to carry concealed, been that way for years. So, I do carry but let my permit expire some time ago. .....never marry a woman who is mean to your waitress.

Just retired again from my second agency a couple of weeks ago, but I’m now in active reserve. Due to still being a commissioned officer, I still carry under that authority. If I had just retired, I’d be back to Honorably Retired Texas Peace Officer(HRTPO)carry, which allows me to carry where an active officer can carry - not having restrictions LTC or constitutional carriers have. Also, I would also be under LEOSA under HRTPO due to yearly qual course and my status qualifying me. This is neither here nor there, but when I re-qualled with another agency when I was retired from first agency, the range officer told me I’d be good for two years as an HRTPO carry, but only good for LEOSA for one. To maintain both, I maintained my status each year by qualifying as required. Retired Texas Lawman

No permit required in Oklahoma but I do have my HR 218 retired LEO card and qual yearly. I currently work as a jailer (non-certified position) and am in the OK Reserve Deputy Academy.

I carry one, and like others it is slipped behind my drivers license so that I can pull them both out if asked for I.D. by an LEO. Required here in S.C. But the best thing about carrying my S.C. permit is , contrary to what many antis think, when ever I show up at my local gun store to purchase a gun or do a transfer of one I've bought from one of yous guys... 10 minutes later I walk out with it and there was no back ground check. The real irony is that I can't pass that background check.... even though The SC Law Enforcement division does one on me every time I renew.... it seems the F.B.I. does not like me.
